¡Hola Chicos!
Ayer fue una clase más de repostería y como siempre esperaba el reto que tocaría superar en el día. La verdad ya me resigné a que mis días martes son toda una novela, pues siempre pasa algo que hace que se torne un tanto pesado o loco.
Y aunque tenemos nuestra "enemistad" con las del otro grupo de la clase, la verdad no fue tanto lo que marcó el día. Lo que definió nuestro día fue el terrible CALOR que estaba haciendo.
Pero vayamos al principio de todo... Tengo una amiga del curso que vive cerca de casa y siempre nos vamos juntas, a veces nos vamos terriblemente tarde cuando a alguna se nos complicó la cosa en casa. 😅 Es que las horas del medio día no son fácil para cualquier ama de casa.
Afortunadamente para nosotras ella contaba con la visita de un familiar que estaba pronto a irse de su casa y que casualmente iría por la ruta que debíamos tomar con el transporte público, lo que significaba que nos ahorraríamos el pasaje.
Así que nos montamos felices de no tener que gastar dinero para movilizarnos, pues de regreso siempre nos hace el favor la otra compañera.

Yesterday was another baking class and as always I was waiting for the challenge that I would have to overcome during the day. The truth is that I've resigned myself to the fact that my Tuesdays are quite a novel, because something always happens that makes it a bit heavy or crazy.
And although we have our "enmity" with the other group of the class, the truth was not so much what marked the day. What defined our day was the terrible HEAT it was getting.
But let's go to the beginning of it all.... I have a friend from the course who lives close to home and we always leave together, sometimes we leave terribly late when one of us had a problem at home. The midday hours are not easy for any housewife.
Fortunately for us she had a family member visiting who was about to leave home and who happened to be on the route we had to take with public transportation, which meant we would save on the fare.
So we were happy not to have to spend money to get around, since the other companion always does us a favor on the way back.
Cuando llegamos no había casi nadie, así que nos dio tiempo de relajarnos un poco y refrescarnos ya que el calor comenzaba a pegar con fuerza.
La profesora tampoco había llegado aún pero nos avisó que fuéramos pesando todos los ingredientes de las recetas. Así que entre todas nos pusimos manos a la obra.
When we arrived there was almost no one around, so we had time to relax a bit and cool off as the heat was starting to hit hard.
The teacher hadn't arrived yet either, but she told us to weigh all the ingredients for the recipes. So we all got down to work.
Luego llegó el momento de la acción y entre todas nos pusimos a trabajar. Yo particularmente este día me sentí SOFOCADA, tanto así que no paraban de caer gotas de sudor de mi cabeza y a pesar que tenía mi pañuelo encima, no encontraba manera de refrescarme.
La verdad no entiendo como hacen las demás para no sufrir tanto con el calor, inclusive hay unas que ni sudan y yo las miro con envidia jajaja.
Es difícil poner la mejor cara para las fotos y como en esta segunda, la arrugaba sin querer.
Then it was time for action and we all got down to work. I particularly felt SOFOCATED this day, so much so that drops of sweat kept falling from my head and even though I had my scarf on me, I couldn't find a way to cool off.
I really don't understand how others do not suffer so much with the heat, there are even some who don't even sweat and I look at them with envy hahaha.
It is difficult to put the best face for the photos and as in this second one, I wrinkled it without wanting to.
Luego de tener casi todo listo, faltando una receta, profesora nos explicó todos los detalles en cuanto al pago de la graduación y una venta de comida que haremos el día 7 del próximo mes.
Este día nos dividiremos en pequeños grupos y cada uno preparará alguna de las recetas vistas a lo largo del curso para venderlo posteriormente y ese dinero recaudado irá como donativo a la institución.
Espero me parece súper genial porque hay muchas carencias dentro de la institución y como no existe un apoyo grande del gobierno, es una manera de que se mantenga y mejoren cada día más sus espacios que es un beneficio para todos los que hacemos vida en ella.
After we had almost everything ready, with one recipe missing, the teacher explained to us all the details regarding the payment of the graduation and a food sale that we will hold on the 7th of next month.
On this day we will divide into small groups and each group will prepare some of the recipes seen throughout the course to sell it later and the money raised will go as a donation to the institution.
I hope it seems great to me because there are many deficiencies within the institution and as there is no great support from the government, it is a way to maintain and improve their spaces every day, which is a benefit for all of us who make life in it.
Armamos la otra receta y ya luego nos pusimos a esperar que la profesora terminara unas llamadas para finalizar la clase. Como verán el sol pega directo a nuestra mesa de trabajo y como el reflejo es súper fuerte a mi me dio dolor de cabeza.
Estaba loca por irme a casa. Y es que también como somos muchas el aire nos circula correctamente y se genera mucho calor en el sitio. A mi se me acercó uno de los trabajadores a decirme que estaba pálida y es que efectivamente me descompensé por un momento, estaba temblando pero rápidamente busqué un caramelo en mi bolso y me lo comí.
Poco a poco fui retomando fuerzas, aunque luego no pude documentar bien, muchas de las fotos salieron borrosas 😔 y no tengo unas fotos claras del resultado de ambas recetas, aunque con lo que tengo trataré de hacer el mejor trabajo.
We assembled the other recipe and then we started to wait for the teacher to finish some calls to end the class. As you can see the sun hit our work table and as the reflection is super strong, it gave me a headache.
I was crazy to go home. And also because there are so many of us, the air does not circulate properly and it generates a lot of heat in the place. I was approached by one of the workers to tell me that I was pale and I did indeed feel sick for a moment, I was shaking but I quickly looked for a candy in my bag and ate it.
Little by little I was regaining strength, although then I could not document well, many of the photos came out blurry 😔 and I do not have clear photos of the result of both recipes, although with what I have I will try to do the best job.
Finalmente hicimos el sorteo de los ingrediente para la próxima semana, este es uno de los momentos donde más nos divertimos. Siempre se generan muchos chistes en el proceso.
Y finalmente decoramos las donas con el glaseado. Repartimos todo en las tazas que llevamos cada una y luego de recoger y limpiar todo nos fuimos.
En este punto nos molestamos un poco porque las del otro grupo a penas reciben su porción se van y dejan todo sucio, no colaboran y esto genera molestia entre todas las que si nos quedamos hasta el final.
Lamentablemente es una situación que se repite en todas las clases que hasta profesora hace hincapié siempre.
Debo confesar que mi momento favorito del día fue cuando me monté en el carro de la compañera y veníamos de regreso.
El viento del camino me refresco casi que inmediatamente y sentía que volvía a la vida. La verdad ya no se que tipo de ropa colocarme para no sufrir tanto, porque vaya como vaya siempre termino bañada en sudor. ¿Alguna recomendación? los leo desesperada jajaja.
Finally we did the drawing of the ingredients for next week, this is one of the moments where we had the most fun. There are always a lot of jokes in the process.
And finally we decorated the donuts with the icing. We distributed everything in the cups that we each brought and after picking up and cleaning everything up we left.
At this point we got a little upset because the other group as soon as they receive their portion they leave and leave everything dirty, they do not collaborate and this generates discomfort among all of us who stayed until the end.
Unfortunately it is a situation that is repeated in all the classes that even the teacher always emphasizes.
I must confess that my favorite moment of the day was when I got into my classmate's car and we were on our way back.
The wind on the road refreshed me almost immediately and I felt like I was coming back to life. The truth is I don't know what kind of clothes to wear so as not to suffer so much, because no matter how I go I always end up bathed in sweat. Any recommendations? I read them desperate hahaha.

A mi también me sucede lo mismo con el calor de verdad esta terrible este clima, casi siempre sucede eso en los grupos y el ambiente de trabajo tampoco se ve el más cómodo para ese tipo de curso, lo importante es que logres tu objetivo el de aprender a hacer tus dulces y te sirvan para hacer un emprendimiento, falta poco para llegar a la meta🤗
Es complicado tratar con otras personas y por lo menos aca mientras el grupo de mujeres sea mas grande, más complicada es la convivencia. Pero si, lo importante es mantener el enfoque en lo que busco lograr y ya falta realmente poco. Y claro, esa es la idea, aprender y emprender ♥
Ha hecho terrible el calor estos días.
Aún así nada te detiene 💪, espero que les salga bien todo con la venta para recaudar

No es fácil la verdad, yo por lo menos no funciono bien asi, ojala que el clima nos de unas vacaciones porque me voy a volver loca 😞

@estefania3 Me encantó tu post muy refrescante para estos tiempos de calor, 🤣🤣🤣 No te sientas mal somos muchas las personas que casi nos derretimos por el calos, es importante estés bien hidratada y cuando te sofoque mucho busca aire, tus dulces se ven muy lindos así deben estar de ricos.
Jajaja horrible. Sii, yo llevo mi botella de 1.5 LTS y estoy a cada ratico tomando. Siempre me la traigo de regreso vacía. Lo peor es que estamos en un sitio abierto pero eso, la cantidad de personas no deja que circule bien. Muchas gracias por tus recomendaciones. 😊❤️
