Hace algunas semanas recibí un mensaje en mi teléfono de una señora que había visto una publicación en una agencia de festejos. Mi compañera Elieska se había inventado la idea de regalarle a una conocida que se iba a casar, un cuadro para que los invitados dejaran su huella en él como recuerdo para los recién casados.
Esta idea ya la habiamos pensado entre las dos y a ella se le presentó la oportunidad con esta conocida. Yo pinté el cuadro con la silueta de los novios (que ya hace varios días se los compartí por acá) y ella lo presentó el día de la boda, ya que yo no pude asistir.
Esta señora había visto la dinámica y le había gustado mucho. Tanto que quiso hacerla para el día del cumpleaños de su hija, quien cumplía 15.
Pinté el cuadro días antes y por fin había llegado el día de la fiesta, donde estaríamos presentes porque la señora quiso que guiáramos a los invitados durante la actividad.

Esta vez me había ido un poco más tarde de lo habitual porque el cumpleaños era de noche.
Para ahorrar tiempo en lo de hacer comida (porque todavía tenemos el problema con el gas), compramos unos pastelitos a un restaurant que queda cerca, dónde hacen delivery. Estaba muy sabrosos por cierto. 🥹
Ya luego acomodé todo y tomé rumbo a la casa de mi compañera. Ese día sabía que iba a ser algo tenso de principio a fin porque yo iba mentalizada para disolver la sociedad que teníamos.

Y es que desde hacía tiempo yo venía con la idea en mi mente porque sentía inconformidad en varios aspectos.
Muchas veces muy flexible con estas cosas y puse de mi parte para que se solventaran, pero seguían apareciendo cosas que me incomodaban.
Más que ser compañeras de trabajo somos amigas y antes de caer en una polémica que nos termine alejando, preferí parar todo y disolver la sociedad.
Representaba muchas cosas, estaba conciente de ello porque dos días antes habíamos tenido un evento corporativo que tuvo mucho éxito, pero ya había evaluado todos los escenarios posibles y era imposible mantener la sociedad.
Sabía que mis soluciones no serían del agrado para ella, por eso me puse en la posición firme de no aceptar arreglar las cosas y disolver por completo o como lo llamé en el momento "botón de autodestrucción".
Por supuesto fue un choque, y es que no hay maneras lindas de decir una noticia así, pero lo asumí. Para la reunión le pedí a su mamá que nos aocmpañara para que fuera testigo de todo lo que se hablara y tuviéramos otra opinión externa a lo que pensábamos.
Ella por supuesto quiso brindar apoyo para su hija y que las cosas no terminaran así, pero terminó por entenderme. Como les dije, era algo que ya había evaluado en varios escenarios.
Luego de la decisión, fijamos ciertos puntos y dimos por concluida la reunión, porque se nos hacía tarde y además estaba lloviendo.
Su mamá le ayudó a arreglar el vestido que usaría y mientras yo terminaba de arreglarme.

After the decision was made, we set certain points and concluded the meeting, because it was getting late and it was raining.
Her mom helped her fix the dress she was going to wear and while I finished getting ready.
El plan era irnos en transporte público para no gastar mucho y que nos quedaran algo de ganancias. Estábamos dudosas si encontraríamos por lo tarde que era. Acá los transportes dejan de trabajar a las 6-7 de la noche.
Había dejado de llover, apenas lloviznaba. Caminamos unas cuantas cuadras para llevar a la parada. Todo estaba inundado de agua pero como pudimos logramos pasar.
Justo cuando llegamos apareció un carro que iba hacia nuestro destino y lo mejor era que tenía aire acondicionado, entonces llegaríamos bien.
The plan was to go by public transportation so as not to spend too much and have some profit left over. We were doubtful if we would find it because it was so late. Here the transports stop working at 6-7 at night.
It had stopped raining, just drizzling. We walked a few blocks to the bus stop. Everything was flooded with water but we managed to get through.
Just as we arrived a car appeared that was going to our destination and the best thing was that it had air conditioning, so we would arrive safely.
Cerca del salon de la fiesta quedaba otro sitio donde hacían eventos. Yo tenía muchos años que no iba a esos sitios y no recordaba está cercanía. Casualmente en el otro sitio había un evento y el transporte nos dejó ahí.
Al ver una enorme cantidad de motos y la bulla de la gente nos dimos cuenta que no eran ahí los 15 años. Nos habían dejado como a 100 metros de nuestro destino. Nos tocó caminar hasta llegar a dónde era, cabe destacar que todo estaba lleno de agua y era de noche. 😓

When we saw a huge amount of motorcycles and the noise of the people we realized that the 15 years were not there. We had been dropped off about 100 meters from our destination. Por fin llegamos al salón 🙌🏻. Subimos las escaleras y luego ubicamos al encargado para que nos colocaran la mesa donde íbamos a trabajar.
Mientras nos fuimos al baño a arreglar un poco. A mí el secado se me había arruinado, como pude con fijador me arreglé el cabello.
También habían varias cositas en el baño que nos ayudaron en esto.
Luego de algunos minutos estábamos listas para acomodar todo e iniciar con la actividad. Esto se los contaré en otro post ✨💜
We finally arrived at 🙌🏻. We went upstairs and then located the manager to set up the table where we were going to work.
In the meantime we went to the bathroom to clean up a bit. My blow dry had been ruined, so I fixed my hair as best I could with hairspray.
There were also some little things in the bathroom that helped us with this.
After a few minutes we were ready to set everything up and start with the activity. I will tell you about this in another post ✨💜.
