I want to share with you all my journey of becomeing a chef.
Since i was a child i have always aspire to be a good cook in future. Then as a child we will be cooking with tomatoes tin, pig milk tin. Using differnt leave from the bush to cook since our mothers did not not allow us to cook knowing that we will spoil the soup. So i had to join my pears to cook what i dont know what to call it. But that was a step to my progress in the kitchen.
As i grew up i was sent to the boarding house to go stay and school. I did not have much opportunity to be cooking apart from when i come back from holidy. I will join mum in the kitchen to cook. By this time i knew how to cooks noodles and rice meal very well.
Afetr my secondary school days i went into the university and then i was staying alone. I had to cook my meals alone and sometimes i will have to use my youtube to learn one of two because at a point in my life i lost my sweet mother. I had to use every means that i have to actuallise my dream of becoming a professional cook.
So i went for service after university Education, coming back i had no money to enroll myself in a catering school to learn more about cooking. It is said that you cannot learn everything by youself you will have to learn from others too. I had to take some menials jobs to survive. I went into sawings it did not work, i went into beadings as well. I even went as far as sellings bags from the little i serve. But all did not give me what i wanted since my dream is to become a professional cook.
So last month my man decided to help me out in this particular dream of mine since i have been on it for a long time. He paid my fees and i have already started cooking with the help of my teacher. Danty kitchen is like the best place for me to be right now. I know how to cook some continental dishes and some intercontinental dishes that i did not know how to cook and also some of my native food.
I am so happy that finally i am fullfulling my desire to become a proffessional cook. My cooking lessons have been cool and i am paying very much attention to every details that is being done there. My boss is the best and most friendly boss i have ever seen.
I am happy.
