Greetings friends. The other day was February 14th. For many it may be special because of the date that everyone knows. However, for me it is a little more special because that day is my mom's birthday.
Well, today I would like to tell you a little bit about what that day was like for me even though I was far away from many of the people I love.

Saludos amigos. El otro día fue 14 de febrero. Para muchos puede ser especial por la fecha que todos conocen. Sin embargo, para mí es un poco mas especial porque ese día cumple años mi mamá.
Pues bien, hoy me gustaría contarles un poco de cómo fue ese día para mí a pesar de que estuve lejos de muchos de los que quiero.
The “party” started for me a little after 12 midnight. A girl who loves me very much and whom I also love, ordered me from far away a couple of gifts that my brother gave me.
It was really nice that he gave me those gifts despite the distance because I really didn't expect them.
As you can see in the picture above he bought me two pairs of socks, one of Homer and one of Goku.
La "fiesta" comenzó para mí poco más de las 12 de la media noche. Una chica que me quiere mucho y a quien yo también quiero, me encargó desde lejos un par de regalos que me entregó mi hermano.
Fue algo muy lindo que me diera esos obsequios a pesar de la distancia porque de verdad que no los esperaba.
Cómo pueden ver en la imagen de arriba me compró dos pares de calcetines, uno de Homero y otro de Goku.
On top of that she gave me a little decorative box with nothing more and nothing less than the seven dragon balls.
She knows the collection I'm putting together of Dragon Ball figurines, so this will come in handy for when I finish it, so I can put together a complete decoration.
Además de eso me regaló una pequeña cajita decorativa con nada más y nada menos que las siete esferas del dragón.
Ella sabe la colección que estoy armando de figuritas de Dragón Ball, así que esto vendrá muy bien para cuando la termine, así armaré una decoración completa.
Well, as I said at the beginning my mom had her birthday that day, so my brother and I, sent them some gifts not only for her but for the whole family.
They were sincerely very excited and sent a lot of pictures of how the gifts arrived. We bought them from online stores and in the end we sent everything by delivery.
Pues bien, como dije al comienzo mi mamá cumplió años ese día, así que mi hermano y yo, les enviamos unos regalos no solo para ella sino para toda la familia.
Se emocionaron mucho sinceramente y mandaron un montón de fotos de cómo llegaron los regalos. Los compramos en tiendas online y al final enviamos todo por delivery.
Even grandma got a gift and was quite happy to receive it, even though she didn't have much idea how we had sent it if we were so far away. My aunt jokingly told her that we sent it by plane and that's why the gifts arrived so quickly.
Hasta la abuela recibió un regalo y estaba bastante contenta al recibirlo, a pesar de que no tenía muchas ideas de cómo lo habíamos enviado si estábamos tan lejos. En broma mi tía le dijo que lo enviamos por avión y que por eso llegaron tan rápido los regalos.
We sent bags and a robe for Grandma, plus a cake for Mom and pizza for everyone.
Enviamos bolsos y una bata para la abuela, además de una torta para mamá y una pizza para todos.
In addition to these gifts we paid for a hairdressing session at a beauty salon for my mother, my aunts and my cousin. They all got their hair done and they really looked great.
Además de esos regalos le pagamos una sesión de peluquería en un salón de belleza para mí madre, mis tias y mi prima. Todas se arreglaron el cabello y la verdad quedaron muy lindas.

As you can see, distance is not always an obstacle to try to do something nice for those you love. So, if you have that loved one close to you, give them a hug and a kiss every time you can. But I repeat, distance is never an impediment to keep the love with those loved ones we have and this year that date was a reminder to me...
