Good afternoon Hivers, I hope you are having an excellent afternoon.
Today I want to talk a little bit about one of the tourist attractions that we can get in Villa de Leyva, which is the main church in the central square and that is the point of comparison to see the size of the square and to be able to locate us in the town.
I want to start by clarifying that I am not a religious person, but I do like to see constructions that are worth admiring, whether in any religion or whether it is a commercial construction such as the Burj Khalifa.
This is a church that has in common with the others that it has a great height and has its religious symbols, it is open to the public during most of the time and something that caught my attention was that you could feel a cold environment compared to the heat that was outside, being able to have a more enjoyable environment within its structure.
Inside we were also able to see a “pesebre” (nativity scene) since we were just a few days before the beginning of January, and this is an important tradition in countries like Venezuela and Colombia, as it represents their religious symbols.
This one, unlike other nativity scenes that I have seen, had several dolls that could move, as well as special effects that gave the shape of fog, which made it a dynamic nativity scene where it was not difficult to stop and enjoy it for several minutes.
I am sure that inside the church there could have been important events in December, as well as during Holy Week, so for religious people it is a must visit place, and for people who enjoy admiring an interesting structure, it is also a must visit when coming to Villa de Leyva.

Buenas tardes Hivers, espero que estén teniendo una excelente tarde.
Hoy les quiero hablar un poco de una de las atracciones turísticas que podemos conseguir en Villa de Leyva, que es la iglesia principal en la plaza central y que es el punto de comparación para ver el tamaño de la plaza y para poder ubicarnos en el pueblo.
Quiero comenzar aclarando que yo no soy una persona religiosa, pero si me gusta ver construcciones que vale la pena admirar, ya sea en cualquier religión o ya sea una construcción comercial como podría ser el Burj Khalifa.
Esta es una iglesia que tiene en común con las demás que tiene una gran altura y tiene sus símbolos religiosos, pero también tiene algo y es que está abierta a todo el público durante la mayor parte del tiempo y algo que me llamó mucho la atención fue que se pudo sentir un ambiente frío en comparación con el calor que estaba afuera, pudiendo tener un ambiente más disfrutable dentro de su estructura.
Adentro también pudimos ver un "pesebre" dado que fuimos a pocos días de comenzar Enero, y esto es una tradición importante en países como Venezuela y Colombia, ya que representa a sus símbolos religiosos.
Este a diferencia de otros pesebres que he podido ver, tenía varios muñecos que se podían mover, como también efectos especiales que daban la forma de neblina, lo que hacía que fuera un pesebre dinámico donde no era difícil detenernos a disfrutarlo por varios minutos.
Estoy seguro de que dentro de la iglesia pudo haber grandes eventos importantes en diciembre, como también puede haberlos en semana santa, por lo que para personas religiosas es un lugar de visita obligatorio, y para personas que disfrutamos de la admiración de una estructura interesante, también es una visita que debemos hacer al venir a Villa de Leyva.
