I've collected a few brown lipsticks and I would say the right 'brown' is not easy to find for my skin tone. They would always turn pink or orange even though in photo swatches or on others it look just fine. Well, apparently Chinese beauty has a lot of stuff that suits my Southeast Asian skin haha so what I have are mostly Cbeauty lippies. :D
First one is the Kaleidos Cloud Lab Lip Clay in the shade Cold Smoke. These brands have such a long ass lipstick names haha but this is basically just a matte liquid lipstick. It turns into a powdery... 'velvet' I guess? It's so soft and doesn't dry the lips out. It does smudge though but pretty color overall.
It's a pretty cold brown, just right for me. :D
This is from the same Cbeauty brand Kaleidos in the shade Bloodstone. It's a dark brown with a more red to it but not to the point of being a brick color.
This one is not Cbeauty but a brand most of us knows. Fenty! :D
This one is the popular lip gloss but in the plumper version. Which means it stings when you wear it, making the lips irritated so it will swell a bit, resulting in a poutier lips lol. I usually don't like those cos they're quite annoying but this one I can tolerate. It plumps the lips a bit but not too much that you'll look like stung by a bee. :P
Next one is of course my current favorite brand Girlcult lol. This is on the darker side, almost black even. It's a lip gloss so it can easily smudge later on since it doesn't "dry".
Another one is their lipstick that is so much easier to use. It kinda feels like a lip balm to wear since the consistency is more like balm than lipstick. Way too soft. It looks gorgeous though.
Another Girlcult dark brown. :D This one is a matte liquid lipstick and I can say it's quite similar to Kaleidos. The dark brown is almost black and I love it.
Last one is the brand everyone knows (I think lol) is MAC. This liquid lipstick in Over The Taupe is one of the MLBB for me (My Lips But Better) and adding a brown lip liner to this will give me a baddie look. Haha. The consistency is creamy and turns a bit into a powdery form but still smudges. I would wear this if I want to look like a baddie with a matte makeup. :D

My lips were swollen after filming this from applying and erasing again and again lol. I hope this is helpful for those looking for a brown lipstick because I know they are not easy to find what suits them. I think they are making a comeback this year though and I have seen MAC released some classic nude shades so I guess that's a start. :D

Yeah it's so fresh haha. I got it from Sephora PH on the app (website is available too I think) but yeah I haven't seen a lot of resellers on Shopee or something so it's not easy to find and expensive too huhu
