Saludos, estimada comunidad de Lifestyle. Estoy convencido de que para vivir en paz se debe estar sin ataduras espirituales, ni materiales. Me despierto, sintiendo el domingo con una fuerte tensión térmica en el ambiente de la ciudad de la región del Roraima. Entiendo literalmente que estoy posado sobre el macizo guayanés, por esta área pasa la línea del ecuador. Estoy estirando mi estructura física en mi morada en la ciudad de Boa vista, realizo una meditación para despertar la luz interna de mi espíritu. Esta energía debo mantenerla encendida. Efectuó mi aseo personal para disponerme a lavar y restregar mi ropa para sacarle la mugre de mi ropa. Desayuno con una arepa asada, elaborada con linaza y orégano, y acompaño a mi plato con un huevo sancochado y una taza de infusión de Jamaica. De forma placentera y rápida sacudo mis ropas y las tiendo para que el sol la seque.
Greetings, dear Lifestyle community. I am convinced that in order to live in peace one must be free of spiritual and material ties. I wake up, feeling Sunday with a strong thermal tension in the atmosphere of the city of the Roraima region. I literally understand that I am perched on the Guiana massif, the equator line passes through this area. I am stretching my physical structure in my abode in the city of Boa Vista, I am doing a meditation to awaken the inner light of my spirit. I must keep this energy burning. I do my personal hygiene to wash and scrub my clothes to get the dirt out of them. I have breakfast with a grilled arepa, made with flaxseed and oregano, and accompany my plate with a boiled egg and a cup of hibiscus tea. Pleasantly and quickly, I shake out my clothes and hang them out to dry in the sun.
Seguidamente, salgo de mi aposento con destino a la feria dominical de esta ciudad del estado del Roraima, Brasil. Mi propósito es distraerme y conocer las personas y encontrarme con el idioma portugués de Brasil. Les hago un paréntesis porque es un contenido extraordinario esta referencia al idioma en esta república Suramérica. Camino rápidamente hasta la avenida General Ateíde Teive. Aquí siento una mareada humana que va y viene caminando por los ventorrillos de verduras, comestibles, ropas, calzados, plantas decorativas: Ofrecen gallinas vivas, medicinas naturales. Me detengo en la venta de un guarapo de caña y solicito un copo de suco de cana de açucar. Me dan un vaso grande, me lo llevo a mis labios, lo engullo. ¡Qué sabor tan agradable de la caña! Me ofrecen de regalo más jugo y terminan llenando nuevamente el vaso. Me traslado hasta el puesto de venta de las plantas y me siento donde están las plantas que admiro. Ellas son las rosas del desierto. No están florecidas; muestran dos plantas con dos preciosos caudex. Me informan por la floración de las que están en la exposición de la feria. Me quedo con una planta que me la llevo para consentirla.
I then leave my room to go to the Sunday fair in this city in the state of Roraima, Brazil. My purpose is to distract myself and get to know the people and meet the Portuguese language of Brazil. I digress because this reference to the language in this South American republic is an extraordinary content. I walk quickly to General Ateíde Teive Avenue. Here I feel a dizzying human flow coming and going as I walk along the little shops selling vegetables, foodstuffs, clothes, shoes, decorative plants: they offer live chickens, natural medicines. I stop at the sale of a sugar cane guarapo and ask for a cup of sugar cane juice. They give me a big glass, I put it to my lips and gulp it down, what a pleasant taste of sugar cane! They offer me more juice as a gift and end up filling the glass again. I move to the plant stall and sit down where the plants I admire are. They are the desert roses. They are not in flower; they show two plants with two beautiful caudex. They inform me about the flowering of the ones in the exhibition at the fair. I keep one plant and take it with me to spoil it.
Por otro lado, salgo del área de la feria y penetro un local de plantas medicinales y compro una porción de pistachos con una pequeña ración de canela en rama. Es más, en otro establecimiento compro, un alimento indígena, la fariña, que es harina tostada de yuca. Salgo al barullo y me centro en comprar unas deliciosas cachapas con queso de mano. Estos son aventureros venezolanos con sus emprendimientos en Brasil. Solicito el servicio tres platos de cachapa para llevar hasta donde mis amistades para adornar la mesa del almuerzo.
On the other hand, I leave the fair and go into a shop selling medicinal plants and buy a portion of pistachios with a small portion of cinnamon sticks. In another shop, I buy fariña, an indigenous food made from toasted manioc flour. I enter the hustle and bustle and concentrate on buying some delicious cachapas with queso de mano. These are adventurous Venezuelans with their ventures in Brazil. I order three plates of cachapa to take to my friends to decorate their lunch table.
Salgo del barullo de la feria de Boa Vista con la mochila al hombro, en mi mano cargo a la consentida, la rosa del desierto. Salgo de la avenida Ateíde Teive con la dirección hacia el norte. Llego al mediodía a la casa de mis amistades en la avenida Mário Homen de Melo. Saludo con efusiva alegría, ellos están en los últimos detalles del almuerzo. Pero, les entrego las cachapas y de inmediato el preparativo está sobre los rieles de la mitad del domingo. Aprecio la empatía que siento con ellos, son una pareja que están dados para el continuo trabajo. Por acá, todos trabajan buscando los reales, no se duermen en los laureles.
I leave the hustle and bustle of the Boa Vista fair with my rucksack over my shoulder and my darling, the rose of the desert, in my hand. I leave the Avenida Ateíde Teive and head north. At noon, I arrived at my friends' house on Mário Homen de Melo Avenue. I greet them with exuberant joy, they are in the final details of the lunch. But I gave them the cachapas and immediately the preparations for mid-Sunday were on track. I appreciate the sympathy I feel for them, a couple who are used to working non-stop. Here everyone works for the real thing, they don't rest on their laurels.
Nos sentamos alrededor de la mesa y la amiga ofrece un breve agradecimiento a Deus por los alimentos y disfrutamos del suculento alimento. Conversamos de lo divino y lo profano. Termina el almuerzo y todos fluimos hacia nuestros aposentos a relajar la digestión.
We sit around the table and the friend gives a brief thank you to Deus for the food and we enjoy the succulent meal. We chat about the divine and the mundane. Lunch is over and we all go to our quarters to rest our digestion.
