Expo Ferre Venezuela se realizó en Barquisimeto
Last weekend, during three days, the Venezuelan ironmongery industry had its big event in the city of Barquisimeto. A month ago there was already an event that has several editions, but this Expo Ferre is organized by the Venezuelan Chamber of Ironmongery and was also held in the facilities of the Lidotel Barquisimeto.
From Friday March 14 to Sunday March 16, several national and regional ironmongery companies were present with large stands to show everything new to those interested. From individuals to companies looking for suppliers. There was a large participation of important brands and companies.
El pasado fin de semana, durante tres días, la industria ferretera de Venezuela tuvo su gran evento en la ciudad de Barquisimeto. Hace un mes ya se había realizado un evento que tiene varias ediciones, pero esta Expo Ferre es organizada por la Cámara Venezolana de Ferretería y también se realizó en las instalaciones del Lidotel Barquisimeto.
Desde el viernes 14 hasta el domingo 16 de marzo, varias empresas ferreteras nacionales y regionales estuvieron presentes con amplios stands para mostrar todo lo nuevo a los interesados. Desde particulares hasta empresas en busca de proveedores. Hubo una gran participación de importantes marcas y empresas.
Friday was the opening ceremony at two o'clock in the afternoon. I arrived exactly at that time. The organization was finalizing the last details so that the representatives of the Venezuelan Chamber of Ironmongery could welcome all the participating companies, the media and the general public.
After a few brief welcoming speeches, the ribbon cutting and the respective toast took place. I did not drink the sparkling wine, preferring to have a coffee. After those present tasted some sweets, the president of the chamber, together with the special guests, made the first tour of the entire exhibitors' area. Stopping at each stand to say hello.
El viernes era la ceremonia de apertura a las dos de la tarde. Llegué exactamente a esa hora. La organización estaba ultimando los últimos detalles para que los representantes de la Cámara Venezolana de Ferretería pudieran dar la bienvenida a todas las empresas participantes, a los medios de comunicación y al público en general.
Tras unos breves discursos de bienvenida, tuvo lugar el corte de cinta y el respectivo brindis. Yo no bebí el vino espumoso, preferí tomar un café. Después de que los presentes degustaran algunos dulces, el presidente de la cámara, junto con los invitados especiales, hizo el primer recorrido por toda la zona de expositores. Deteniéndose en cada stand para saludar.

The general public could register through the website to get the QR code for access, but for those who had not done so, they had people attending to people to register them right then and there.
I was surprised by most of the companies who did a great job putting together the booths. Some were huge and you could tell it had taken days of hard work to set them up and move all the equipment.
The aisles of the pavilions were very fluid. Very organized and with an incredible atmosphere. Some brands had their own dynamics, with animation or musical numbers, as well as contests for the public to participate with excellent prizes. I saw one who won a drill.
El público en general podía registrarse a través de la página web para obtener el código QR de acceso, pero para los que no lo habían hecho, tenían personas que atendían a la gente para registrarlos en ese mismo momento.
Me sorprendieron la mayoría de las empresas que hicieron un gran trabajo elaborando los stands. Algunos eran enormes y se notaba que había costado días de duro trabajo montarlos y mover todo el equipo.
Los pasillos de los pabellones eran muy fluidos. Muy organizados y con un ambiente increíble. Algunas marcas tenían sus propias dinámicas, con animación o números musicales, además de concursos para que el público participara con excelentes premios. Vi a uno que ganó un taladro.

Although the hours passed quickly, I had time to take lots of photos to capture all the details. I was also able to talk to acquaintances I met at the construction site. That first day they had planned to close the access at night, to start the event on Saturday and Sunday at 11 am.
I took the opportunity to get to know some of the products, ironmongery is not something I master, but I was interested in learning about the latest products. They gave me a lot of information. When I felt a little exhausted from not stopping since I arrived, I sat for a while in the rest area where there were stands of other brands that have nothing to do in the sector, such as Internet and cable TV companies and other services.
In that area was the company Momentos for people to take a 360-degree video. They lined up to stand on the mound of the device and spend it making faces and movements for the camera.
Aunque las horas pasaron deprisa, tuve tiempo de hacer muchas fotos para captar todos los detalles. También pude hablar con conocidos que conocí en la obra. Ese primer día tenían previsto cerrar el acceso por la noche, para empezar el evento el sábado y el domingo a las 11 de la mañana.
Aproveché para conocer algunos de los productos, la ferretería no es algo que domine, pero me interesaba conocer los últimos productos. Me dieron mucha información. Cuando me sentí un poco agotado de no parar desde que llegué, me senté un rato en la zona de descanso donde había stands de otras marcas que no tienen que ver en el sector, como empresas de internet y televisión por cable y otros servicios.
En esa zona estaba la empresa Momentos para que la gente se hiciera un vídeo de 360 grados. Hacían cola para colocarse en el montículo del aparato y pasarlo haciendo caras y movimientos para la cámara.
The event had an excellent level. I enjoyed it very much. I could only attend on Friday because on Saturday I had to go to another event and on Sunday I preferred to rest at home. I don't know if next year this event will be held again in the city. Anyway, this makes two events on the ironmongery industry, which is positive, despite the crisis, there are companies that continue to invest.

El evento tuvo un nivel excelente. Me gustó mucho. Sólo pude asistir el viernes porque el sábado tenía que ir a otro evento y el domingo preferí descansar en casa. No sé si el año que viene volverán a hacer este evento en la ciudad. En fin, con este ya van dos eventos sobre la industria ferretera lo cual es positivo, a pesar de la crisis, hay empresas que siguen invirtiendo.

Tomaste un montón de fotos maravillosas, cuantas promotoras!!! Además el lugar super organizado y como mencionas llevó mucho tiempo armarlo todo. Mi hermano es fan de todo eso pero fan fan podría estar horas infinitas viendo todos los productos. Que buen evento y con mucha cantidad de marcas.
