La próxima semana es NFT París 2025, y eso me hace recordar lo especial que fue este mismo evento el año pasado.
Para mi NFT París fue el evento en el que verdaderamente sentí la energía de conectar con mis amigos y la comunidad web3 en la vida real. Y, además, fue muy especial porque fue justo cuando empecé a trabajar en Polygon ID.
Mi viaje empezó con escala Barcelona. Antes de volar a París, pasé unos días allí con mi nuevo equipo. Después de un mes trabajando en remoto, por fin pude conocer a mis compañeros en persona. Por primera vez, compartimos momentos más allá del trabajo y reforzamos esa confianza que solo se da cara a cara.
Luego, París. Llegué al evento y me recibieron mis nuevos compañeros de trabajo en el stand de Polygon entregándome una buena cantidad de merch brutal. Me dio mucho respeto y orgullo poder representar a la marca y a mi equipo en un evento tan grande. Pero lo mejor de NFT París fue reencontrarme con amigos como Vicen Gómez, co-fundador de Wonder Wars, un juego web3 para móvil que lo está haciendo muy muy bien. Con Vicen compartí muchas risas, aprendizajes y esa frustración común del mundo startup.
Uno de los momentos más especiales de París fue conocer a mi nuevo jefe Sandeep Nailwal, cofundador de Polygon. Uno de los referentes y líderes de web3. Pude hablar con Sandeep un buen rato. Fue muy cercano, directo y me hizo sentir que nos conocíamos de toda la vida. Me preguntó qué pensaba de Polygon, qué veía de especial en el futuro de la identidad, qué cambiaría. No fue una charla de jefe a empleado, fue una conversación real, con interés genuino.
La noche terminó en una fiesta de Polygon en un lugar underground. Música en vivo, arte, LEDs, NFTs, actuaciones, cocktails… un cierre perfecto del evento.

Next week is NFT Paris 2025, and it reminds me of how special this event was last year.
For me, NFT Paris was the event where I truly felt the energy of connecting with my friends and the web3 community in real life. It was also incredibly special because it was right when I started working at Polygon ID.
My journey began with a stop in Barcelona. Before flying to Paris, I spent a few days there with my new team. After a month of working remotely, I finally got to meet my colleagues in person. For the first time, we shared moments beyond work and built that trust that only happens face to face.
Then, Paris. I arrived at the event and was welcomed by my new colleagues at the Polygon booth, giving me away an incredible amount of merch. I felt both honored and proud to represent the brand and my team at such a big event. But the best part of NFT Paris was reconnecting with friends like Vicen Gómez, co-founder of Wonder Wars, a web3 mobile game that’s doing incredibly well. With Vicen, I shared lots of laughs, experiences, and that common frustration of the startup world.
One of the most special moments in Paris was meeting my new boss, Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon. One of the key figures and leaders in web3. I got to talk with Sandeep for quite a while. He was approachable, direct, and made me feel like we had known each other forever. He asked me what I thought about Polygon, what I saw as the future of identity, and what I would change. It wasn’t a boss to employee conversation. It was a real talk, with genuine curiosity.
The night ended at a Polygon party in an underground venue: live music, art, LEDs, NFTs, performances, cocktails… the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable event.

STOPSiempre me han llamado la atención los eventos en Paris porque se ve que, además de meterle muchísimo presupuesto, la pasan súper bien y van muchos constructores de la web3.

Sí, París siempre está cool para eventos y la ciudad es hermosa y acompaña.
Este año no me toca ir porque estoy por LATAM. El post lo he creado por la nostalgia del año pasado. ☹️
