Hola chicos, hoy les traigo estas fotos de todo lo que comí en el Barrio Chino de Lima, Perú. Este barrio chino está ubicado en el centro de Lima, es solo una cuadra, pero hay muchísimos locales donde puedes encontrar muchos productos chinos, coreanos y hasta japoneses.
Fui a este lugar exclusivamente para probar un poco de todo, así que esa fue mi misión principal. Estaba muy bonito decorado con todas las costumbres locales, los locales tenían nombres en español y en chino.
Lo primero que decidí probar fue el siu mai, una masa rellena de cerdo y cocinada al vapor o frita. En este caso probé de ambas, estaban muy ricas con la salsa de anguila, que para mí fue lo que le dio el toque delicioso. Me gustó más al vapor que frito, ya que el frito estaba más seco y no tenía tanto sabor como el que estaba cocido al vapor.
Luego probé el min pao, una masa de arroz muy suave y con un toque dulce, rellena de cerdo agridulce. Era muy esponjosa, parecía una nube en mi boca. El relleno era de cerdo en trozos con una salsa dulce y estaba cocinado al vapor, me encantó, especialmente con la misma salsa de anguila.
Después comí unas bolas de cerdo que estaban reposadas en una salsa agridulce. Me gustaron, pero para mi gusto la salsa era muy dulce. También probé empanadillas chinas fritas rellenas de pollo y cerdo.
En el Barrio Chino había una gran variedad de puestos vendiendo todo tipo de comida y finalmente fui por algo dulce, comí los famosos waffles chinos, rellenos de chips de chocolate. La masa estaba dulce pero no al punto deempalagar, me gustó mucho. En este punto ya no podía comer nada más, así que terminamos probando el helado hecho de matcha. Para ser sincera, esperaba mucho más del sabor del helado, quedé un poco decepcionada, pero bueno, igual estaba rico.

Hi guys, today I bring you these pictures of everything I ate in Chinatown in Lima, Peru. This Chinatown is located in downtown Lima, it's only one block, but there are lots and lots of places where you can find many Chinese, Korean and even Japanese products.
I went to this place exclusively to try a little bit of everything, so that was my main mission. It was very nicely decorated with all the local customs, the locals had names in Spanish and Chinese.
The first thing I decided to try was siu mai, a dough stuffed with pork and steamed or fried. In this case I tried both, they were very tasty with the eel sauce, which for me was what gave it the delicious touch. I liked it better steamed than fried, as the fried one was drier and did not have as much flavor as the steamed one.
Then I tried the min pao, a very soft rice dough with a sweet touch, filled with sweet and sour pork. It was very fluffy, it looked like a cloud in my mouth. The filling was chunky pork with a sweet sauce and it was steamed, I loved it, especially with the same eel sauce.
Next I had some pork balls that were rested in a sweet and sour sauce. I liked them, but for my taste the sauce was too sweet. I also tried fried Chinese dumplings filled with chicken and pork.
In Chinatown there were a variety of stalls selling all kinds of food and finally I went for something sweet, I had the famous Chinese waffles, filled with chocolate chips. The batter was sweet but not to the point of being soggy, I really liked it. At this point I couldn't eat anything else, so we ended up trying the ice cream made of matcha. To be honest, I was expecting much more of the ice cream flavor, I was a little disappointed, but it was still tasty.
