Happy Thursday. It's almost, almost, the weekend. I am here, happy to be with you sharing once again in this community. I came to tell you about my meeting that took place at work, on the high seas.
Nos llevaron al Hotel Alto Mar para presentar el informe mensual de cada departamento. Este lugar es realmente hermoso, con varios espacios bien diseñados y acogedores. Uno de los aspectos más destacados es el área de la sala de conferencias, que fue donde realizamos y expusimos nuestros informes.
We were taken to the Hotel Alto Mar to present the monthly report for each department. This place is truly beautiful, with several well-designed and cozy spaces. One of the highlights is the conference room area, which is where we held and presented our reports.
Antes de comenzar la reunión, nos llevaron a desayunar en el hotel, y era full service, podíamos elegir lo que quisiéramos. Disfrutamos de una amplia variedad de opciones, desde frutas frescas y yogur hasta panqueques y omelets hechos a la medida. Este desayuno nos permitió empezar el día con energía y buen ánimo, listos para enfrentar la jornada laboral.
Before the meeting began, we were taken to have breakfast at the hotel, and it was full service; we could choose whatever we wanted. We enjoyed a wide variety of options, from fresh fruits and yogurt to pancakes and made-to-order omelets. This breakfast allowed us to start the day with energy and good spirits, ready to face the workday.
Siempre me llena un poco de ansiedad estos días, ya que son los primeros días del mes donde se realiza esta presentación. Básicamente, tenemos que vaciar todo el contenido del mes en unas diapositivas con los formatos y reglas indicadas por la gerencia, y por supuesto, exponerlas ante todos.
These days always fill me with a bit of anxiety, as they are the first days of the month when this presentation takes place. Basically, we have to pour all the content of the month into slides with the formats and rules indicated by management, and of course, present them to everyone.
La preparación para este tipo de reuniones implica mucho trabajo y dedicación. Debemos reunir toda la información relevante, analizar los datos y asegurarnos de que cada detalle esté bien presentado. A veces puede ser un proceso agotador, pero también es una oportunidad para mostrar el esfuerzo y el trabajo que hemos realizado durante el mes.
Preparation for this type of meeting involves a lot of work and dedication. We must gather all the relevant information, analyze the data, and ensure that every detail is well presented. Sometimes it can be an exhausting process, but it is also an opportunity to showcase the effort and work we have done during the month.
El Hotel Alto Mar proporcionó un ambiente perfecto para llevar a cabo esta reunión. La sala de conferencias estaba equipada con tecnología de última generación, lo que facilitó la presentación de nuestros informes. Además, el personal del hotel fue muy amable y atento, asegurándose de que tuviéramos todo lo necesario para que la reunión fuera un éxito.
The Hotel Alto Mar provided a perfect setting to hold this meeting. The conference room was equipped with state-of-the-art technology, making it easy to present our reports. Additionally, the hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for the meeting to be successful.

Despite the anxiety I feel on these days, there is also a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction once the presentation is over. Seeing each department share their achievements and challenges is inspiring and helps us stay focused on our goals.
Además, estas reuniones son una excelente oportunidad para interactuar con colegas de otros departamentos y fortalecer nuestras relaciones laborales. Compartir ideas y soluciones a problemas comunes nos ayuda a crecer como equipo y a mejorar nuestra colaboración.
Moreover, these meetings are an excellent opportunity to interact with colleagues from other departments and strengthen our working relationships. Sharing ideas and solutions to common problems helps us grow as a team and improve our collaboration.
Al finalizar la reunión, nos ofrecieron un pequeño recorrido por las instalaciones del hotel. Pudimos apreciar la belleza de los jardines, las áreas de descanso y el restaurante, donde disfrutamos de un delicioso almuerzo. Fue una excelente manera de relajarse y recargar energías después de una jornada intensa de trabajo.
At the end of the meeting, we were given a small tour of the hotel facilities. We were able to appreciate the beauty of the gardens, the rest areas, and the restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. It was a great way to relax and recharge after an intense day of work.
El Hotel Alto Mar no solo nos brindó un espacio adecuado para la presentación de nuestros informes, sino que también nos ofreció un entorno tranquilo y agradable que facilitó la comunicación y el intercambio de ideas. Este tipo de experiencias nos recuerdan la importancia de un buen ambiente de trabajo y cómo puede influir positivamente en nuestra productividad y bienestar.
The Hotel Alto Mar not only provided us with a suitable space for presenting our reports but also offered a peaceful and pleasant environment that facilitated communication and the exchange of ideas. En resumen, la reunión en el Hotel Alto Mar fue una experiencia enriquecedora y productiva. Aunque estos días siempre me llenan de ansiedad, también son momentos importantes para reflexionar sobre nuestro trabajo y celebrar nuestros logros. Estoy agradecida por la oportunidad de participar en estas presentaciones y por el apoyo de mis colegas y superiores.
In summary, the meeting at the Hotel Alto Mar was an enriching and productive experience. Although these days always fill me with anxiety, they are also important moments to reflect on our work and celebrate our achievements.
