One of the things I love most about Web3 is that you get to make amazing friends from all over the world. Even though these friendships usually start virtually, there always comes a time when we step out of the screen and meet in real life.
Yesterday, I met Simón, a very talented developer who’s in town for work. He reached out to me on Twitter to coordinate a meetup and surprise me with an amazing gift—A DECENTRALAND STICKER!
I have tons of stickers (and I’m sure many of you do too), but until now, I didn’t have any merch from one of my favorite projects. So, this sticker meant a lot to me ❤️.
Also, my friend Edward—one of the first people I met in Medellín—came to the meetup too. He had been holding onto a gift for me for a few days, but we hadn’t been able to coordinate until now.
Meeting such amazing people is truly special, and I’m beyond happy with how this city has welcomed me and all the incredible opportunities it offers 🫂.

Una de las cosas que más me encanta de web3 es que haces muy buenos amigos de todas partes del mundo, y aunque generalmente esa amistad nace de manera virtual, siempre llega el momento de salir de la pantalla y conocernos en la vida real.
Ayer conocí a Simón, un desarrollador muy talentoso que está de paso en la ciudad por motivos de trabajo. Además, mi amigo Edward, una de las primeras personas que conocí en Medellín, también acudió al encuentro ya que tenía un obsequio para mi desde hace algunos días y no habíamos logrado coincidir. Que bonito conocer personas tan geniales, estoy super feliz de lo bien que me ha recibido esta ciudad y todas las buenas oportunidades que te brinda 🫂
