Una de las cosas que hicimos en carnaval, aparte de estar en casa la mayoría del tiempo, fue ir a la playa con el súper presupuesto más bajo que se puedan imaginar, pero una excelente salida donde me distraje y relajé. Para hacer un viaje sin gastar mucho y al mismo tiempo pasarla bien es necesario organizar cada una de las cosas: la comida, la bebida, el dinero en efectivo necesario para moverse en el transporte público, etc.
One of the things we did during Carnival, apart from staying at home most of the time, was to go to the beach with the lowest budget you can imagine, but an excellent outing where I had fun and relaxed. To go on a trip without spending a lot and at the same time have a good time, it is necessary to organize each of the things: food, drinks, the cash needed to travel on public transport, etc.
Revisamos lo que teníamos en la nevera para ver qué comida podíamos preparar para almorzar allá en la playa. Optamos por un arroz chino, porque teníamos lo básico para hacerlo y quedó muy bueno, la verdad. Para desayunar también nos llevamos arepas con huevo y queso. Llevamos agua para tomar y una botella de sevillana que conseguimos en promoción.
We looked at what we had in the fridge to see what food we could prepare for lunch there on the beach. We opted for Chinese rice, because we had the basics to make it and it was really good, to be honest. For breakfast we also took arepas with egg and cheese. We took water to drink and a bottle of Sevillana that we got on sale.
En lo que más se gastó, fue en el pasaje para la playa, ya que vivimos en el valle, a más de una hora de la playa e implicaban dos autobuses, de Cumanacoa a Cumaná y de cumaná a la playa, que en esta oportunidad se trató de Cangrejo Azul, un nuevo lugar que abrieron donde venden comidas y bebidas, hay música y seguridad, muy bonito, aunque un poco sucio, asumo que porque el día anterior fue la fiesta de carnaval en el lugar y nosotros llegamos al día siguiente a las 8am, sumamente temprano.
What we spent the most on was the fare to the beach, since we live in the valley, more than an hour from the beach and it involved two buses, from Cumanacoa to Cumaná and from Cumaná to the beach, which on this occasion was Cangrejo Azul, a new place that they opened where they sell food and drinks, there is music and security, very nice, although a little dirty, I assume because the day before there was a carnival party there and we arrived the next day at 8am, extremely early.
En resumen, es un lugar bastante bonito para pasar el rato, distraerse y divertirse. La playa es mi lugar felíz y siempre me surge la necesidad de estar ahí. Aunque esta playa siendo las playas de San Luis, no están entre mis favoritas para nadar, ya que sin un poco más oscuras. Estos sitios son más que todo para distraerse y disfrutar del comercio que del nado en la playa. Un excelente viaje, donde terminamos exhaustos y quemaditos, todo con un costo de quince dólares.
In short, it's a pretty nice place to hang out, relax and have fun. The beach is my happy place and I always feel the need to be there. Although this beach, being the beaches of San Luis, is not among my favorites for swimming, since it is a bit darker. These places are more for relaxing and enjoying the commerce than swimming at the beach. An excellent trip, where we ended up exhausted and sunburned, all for a cost of fifteen dollars.
