Celebrar mi cumpleaños siempre ha sido para mi algo mu importante y es que sin importar lo mucho o poco que pueda hacer ese día no me gusta dejarlo pasar como si de un día más se tratara, es por esto que cada año intento celebrarlo siempre de manera diferente, haciendo algo que me guste y que no hago de manera regular pero como sea la idea es hacer algo en mi cumpleaños ya que para mi es un día especial.
Este año mi cumpleaños fue bastante diferente, aun más de lo que yo imaginaba que sería, pues, aunque me gusta celebrar para esta vez no tenía un plan en específico para mi día y no es porque no quisiera celebrarlo sino porque las circunstancias actuales son diferentes a las de los años anteriores, ya que antes tenía mucho más tiempo libre para dedicarme a hacer algo en este día pero ahora, tengo un trabajo en el que paso gran parte del día y eso consume la mayoría de mi tiempo y siendo mi cumpleaños un día en el que debía ir a trabajar veía como algo imposible poder celebrarlo o al menos ese mismo día, pero después de todo pude celebrar mu cumpleaños y fue realmente maravilloso, pues no esperaba pasar ese día que tuve.
Mi día comenzó a las 5am cuando despertaba para ir a trabajar y apenas abrí los ojos Dani tenia en manos mi obsequio de cumpleaños, el cual por cierto me encantó, ya que era una franela de una banda que nos gusta mucho a ambos que se llama Ghost de la cual hace tiempo quería alguna prenda y Dani sabiendo eso me sorprendió con este regalo.
Celebrating my birthday has always been very important to me, and no matter how much or how little I can do on that day, I don't like to let it pass as if it were just another day. That's why every year I try to celebrate it in a different way, doing something that I like and that I don't do regularly, but the idea is to do something on my birthday anyway, since for me it's a special day.
This year my birthday was quite different, even more than I imagined it would be, because, although I like to celebrate, this time I didn't have a specific plan for my day, and it's not because I didn't want to celebrate it, but because the current circumstances are different from those of previous years, since before I had much more free time to dedicate to doing something on this day, but now, I have a job where I spend a large part of the day and that consumes most of my time, and since my birthday was a day when I had to go to work, I saw it as something impossible to be able to celebrate it, or at least that same day, but after all I was able to celebrate my birthday and it was really wonderful, because I didn't expect to spend that day that I had.
My day started at 5am when I woke up to go to work and as soon as I opened my eyes Dani had my birthday present in his hands, which by the way I loved, since it was a t-shirt from a band that we both really like called Ghost, of which I had wanted some clothing for a while and Dani knowing that surprised me with this gift.
Estando en el trabajo nos llamaron a todos a una "reunion" rápida y al estar todos reunidos era para cantarme cumpleaños entre mis compañeros y jefes, debo decir que esto ya me lo esperaba porque así ha sido en los anteriores cumpleaños del trabajo pero en definitiva se sintió lindo ahora que fue mi turno y esto no fue todo porque también me dieron mi ración de torta de obsequio.
While at work, they called us all to a quick "meeting" and when we were all gathered together, my coworkers and bosses sang happy birthday to me. I must say that I was already expecting this because it has been like this on previous work birthdays, but it definitely felt nice now that it was my turn, and that wasn't all, because they also gave me my share of cake as a gift.
Ese día salí muy tarde del trabajo, había mucho que hacer y estaba bastante agotada, además llovió mucho y llegamos a casa muy mojados, el único plan que tenía era recibir la visita de mi amiga Mau y sus padres para compartir y preparar unos perros calientes pero debido al mal tiempo pensé que ni eso podría hacer. De último momento mi amiga me dijo que me llevaría una torta y cuando escampó fui a comprar unas en el supermercado.
That day I left work very late, there was a lot to do and I was quite exhausted, plus it rained a lot and we got home very wet, the only plan I had was to receive a visit from my friend Mau and her parents to share and prepare some hot dogs but due to the bad weather I thought I couldn't even do that. At the last minute my friend told me she would bring me a cake and when the rain stopped I went to buy some at the supermarket.
El clima mejoró y mi amiga pudo venir a mi casa, llegando me dio el lindo obsequio que había preparado para mi, una hermosa y deliciosa torta 3 leches con muchas velitas y una gelatina para acompañar.
The weather improved and my friend was able to come to my house. When she arrived she gave me the lovely gift she had prepared for me, a beautiful and delicious 3 milks cake with lots of candles and a gelatin to accompany it.
Este para mi fue un gran detalle, creí que no tendría torta en mi cumpleaños pero mi amiga hizo posible que la tuviera. Cuando llegaron nos sentamos a conversar y compartir unos snacks que trajeron y con eso pasamos el rato. Preparamos unos perros calientes para cenar pero no comimos mucho porque todos queríamos dejar espacio para la torta.
This was a great detail for me, I thought I wouldn't have cake on my birthday but my friend made it possible for me to have it. When they arrived we sat down to talk and share some snacks they brought and that's how we passed the time. We made some hot dogs for dinner but we didn't eat much because we all wanted to leave room for the cake.
Teniendo en cuenta de que todos teníamos que trabajar al día siguiente decidimos cantar cumpleaños temprano, así que comencé a encender todas mis velitas de cumpleaños, luego cantamos y finalmente probamos la torta que estaba exquisita. Este sin duda fue un cumpleaños diferente como siempre me ha gustado y además muy especial, puede que me encuentre en otro país pero definitivamente no estoy sola porque aquí también tengo personas que siempre están para nosotros y el día de mi cumpleaños me lo demostraron una vez más, es gracias a esto que tuve un muy feliz cumpleaños y mejor de lo que espera que fuera.
Considering that we all had to work the next day we decided to sing happy birthday early, so I started lighting all my birthday candles, then we sang and finally we tasted the cake which was exquisite. This was definitely a different birthday as I have always liked and also very special, I may be in another country but I am definitely not alone because here I also have people who are always there for us and on my birthday they showed me that once again, it is thanks to this that I had a very happy birthday and better than I expected it to be.
