¿Alguien más se siente cómodo ejerciendo su profesion?
Actualmente Tengo 17 años de servicio en el Área de Retardo Mental o Compromiso Cognitivo. 17 años de experiencias extraordinarias, y es que son esas necesidades y cualidades únicas de nuestros estudiantes las que hacen de esta profesión un mundo infinito de enriquecimiento personal, es imposible no apreciar cada momento mágico que te brinda está carrera, a veces me hacen preguntas como: y es difícil trabajar con estos niños? debes tener mucha paciencia? sonrió y solo puedo decir que para llevar acabó este oficio debes amar lo que haces, debes tener vocacion, respeto a la individualidad, a los ritmos de aprendizaje de cada persona, y por encima de todo empatía.
Un día en mi trabajo, viene cargado de un sin fin de emociones, a veces nuestros estudiantes están irritados, en otras oportunidades desborda la alegría y entusiasmo. llevamos una rutina diaria, que inicia con la responsabilidad y cumplimiento de horarios, la puesta en práctica de las normas de cortesía, ejecución de hábitos alimenticios, aseo e higiene, actividades que permitan fomentar la independencia personal, el desarrollo de las habilidades sociales. Todo el aprendizaje es constructivo, desde hacer, no dejamos a un lado los juegos lúdicos y pre deportivos. Sin duda el momento que más esperan del día es la ida a la cancha y al parque, ocasión que aprovechamos al máximo porque hasta jugando aprendemos, respetando turnos, estableciendo relaciones personales, cooperando con los demás.
Este año escolar tengo una matrícula 6 estudiantes 5 con Síndrome de Down y 1 con Autismo. entre los 6 y 7 Años de edad. les encanta elaborar trabajos manuales: pintar, recortar, pegar. son muy unidos y colaboradores entre ellos.
Pudiera pasar días hablando de mis estudiantes. Pero, por ahora solo les puedo decir que soy yo la que aprende a diario, he sido yo quién ha crecido como persona a lo largo de estos 17 años. Me ha tocado ver a muchos partir de este plano terrenal, pero también me he gozado viéndoles desenvolverse en la sociedad, con el apoyo de sus padres y cuidadores han logrado capacitarse en un oficio, lo que les permite ser de ayuda y sustento para sus hogares, es acá donde hago hincapié, el límite es el cielo, jamás límites a una persona solo porque tiene capacidades distintas.
Ya Para cerrar, lo que más me engrandece es el cariño y el respeto de mis estudiantes, que aún cuando pasen los años puedan recordarme de una manera especial y bonita. porque siempre quedaremos impregnado de la esencia y el amor los unos con los otros.

Well, I am going to tell you what a day at my workplace is like. even though it is routine, I assure you that it will never be boring, one day will never be like another. there will be no time to get angry, and if it happens, believe me, it will not last long. I am a Special Education teacher. A beautiful profession that places in our hands the lives of children, adolescents and adults who deserve different strategies than those that are put into practice in the "regular" school, we provide them with a quality education because we focus on their unique needs and abilities.
I currently have 17 years of service in the Mental Retardation or Cognitive Compromise Area. 17 years of extraordinary experiences, and it is those needs and unique qualities of our students that make this profession an infinite world of personal enrichment, it is impossible not to appreciate every magical moment that gives you this career, sometimes I am asked questions like: and it is difficult to work with these children? you must have a lot of patience? I smile and I can only say that to take finished this job you must love what you do, you must have a vocation, respect for individuality, the learning rhythms of each person, and above all empathy.
A day in my job is full of endless emotions, sometimes our students are irritated, at other times overflowing with joy and enthusiasm. We have a daily routine, which begins with the responsibility and compliance with schedules, the implementation of the rules of courtesy, implementation of eating habits, cleanliness and hygiene, activities to promote personal independence, the development of social skills. All learning is constructive, from doing, we do not leave aside the playful and pre-sports games. Undoubtedly, the most anticipated time of the day is going to the playground and the park, an occasion that we make the most of because we even learn while playing, respecting turns, establishing personal relationships, cooperating with others.
This school year I have an enrollment of 6 students, 5 with Down Syndrome and 1 with Autism, between the ages of 6 and 7 years old. they love to make crafts: painting, cutting, gluing. they are very united and cooperative among them.
I could spend days talking about my students. But, for now I can only tell you that I am the one who learns every day, I have been the one who has grown as a person throughout these 17 years. I have seen many of them leave this earthly plane, but I have also enjoyed seeing them develop in society, with the support of their parents and caregivers they have managed to train in a trade, which allows them to be of help and support for their homes, it is here where I emphasize, the limit is the sky, never limit a person just because they have different capabilities.
In closing, what makes me most proud is the affection and respect of my students, that even when the years go by they can remember me in a special and beautiful way, because we will always be impregnated with the essence and love for each other.

Felicidades Nahiper. Es un trabajo hermoso pero no sencillo. Cualquier persona no cuenta con las herramientas adecuadas para realizarlo y veo que tú tienes un corazón grandote para trabajar con estos niños.

La última foto me encanta. Es una loable función la que cumples, vivo cerca de una escuela especial y me conmueve la felicidad que la mayoría de los alumnos tiene cuando paso por el lado. Me obliga a cambiar la cara por respeto a ellos y a mi. Como si estuviera en presencia de un verdadero guerrero. Si ellos ríen por qué yo no?
