Amigos de lifestyle, espero estén muy bien 😃 paso por aquí para contarles como fui parte de una las tradiciones culturales de mi amada Venezuela.
Cada 3 de mayo se celebra el día de la Cruz de Mayo y en la institución para la cual laboro hay un personal de cultura muy atento a seguir todas estas tradiciones así que una vez más nos han motivado a ser parte activa de esta celebración.
Hoy, cada departamento del Ipasme Cantaura, bajo su cruz al altar que estaba en el patio central de la institución, fue la oportunidad para que cada equipo mostrará su creatividad e ingenio para decorar a la santisima cruz, en realidad todos se destacaron e hicieron un hermoso trabajo.
En mi departamento, nos pusimos de acuerdo para llevar frutas y así seguir la tradición que se repite generación tras generación. Mientras cada uno fue presentando su cruz, iban narrando el origen de esta hermosa tradición con singulares cantos a capella y también disfrutamos de carato de mango y carato de maíz, bebidas tipicas de esta celebración.
Cabe destacar que el próximo viernes vendrá un jurado calificador y escogerá la cruz más bonita de todos los departamentos y los ganadores podrán disfrutar de una rica ensalada de frutas, espero que el departamento de registros medicos se lleve este premio jejeje.
Para los que no lo saben, la tradición es rendirle homenaje a la cruz con flores y las primeras cosechas, con rezos y cantos se le pide a la cruz de mayo que llueva y que se obtengan buenas cosechas con una tierra prospera y fructífera durante todo el año.
Fue muy agradable ser parte de esta celebración para que así nuestras tradiciones no mueran ni desaparezcan sino ques bien sean transmitidas de generación en generación.

Lifestyle friends, I hope you are very well 😃 I am passing by to tell you how I was part of one of the cultural traditions of my beloved Venezuela.
Every May 3 is celebrated the day of the Cruz de Mayo and in the institution for which I work there is a cultural staff very attentive to follow all these traditions so once again they have motivated us to be an active part of this celebration.
Today, each department of Ipasme Cantaura, lowered their cross to the altar that was in the central courtyard of the institution, it was the opportunity for each team to show their creativity and ingenuity to decorate the holy cross, actually everyone stood out and did a beautiful job.
In my department, we agreed to bring fruits and thus continue the tradition that is repeated generation after generation. While each one was presenting their cross, they were narrating the origin of this beautiful tradition with unique a capella songs and we also enjoyed carato de mango and carato de maíz, typical drinks of this celebration.
It should be noted that next Friday a jury will come and choose the most beautiful cross of all departments and the winners will enjoy a delicious fruit salad, I hope that the medical records department takes this prize hehehe.
For those who do not know, the tradition is to pay homage to the cross with flowers and the first crops, with prayers and songs we ask the cross of May for rain and good harvests with a prosperous and fruitful land throughout the year.
It was very nice to be part of this celebration so that our traditions do not die or disappear, but rather are transmitted from generation to generation.
