This colorful fest took place last December in my hometown. Entrepreneurs and business owners showcased their products and offered services, and we were there to explore and find something exclusive.
I shared a post about the details of this fair with some more photos. Here is the post you can check. Today, I'm going to share about some more shops and one of my favorite ones that caught my attention.
Any type of fair means there will be rides and entertainment zones, right? And this was not an exception, there were a few small rides, mostly for kids. But we entered on this wheel/swing. It was such an experience!
After you step into the fair, a blast of colorful products will be in front of you. From food products to jewelry, from items of clothing to skin care; they have everything.
What I love most is, that the shop owners were very friendly and chatty. As they were mostly owners of home-run and online-based businesses it was a perfect opportunity to market their products. Also, for many of them, this was their first time interacting directly with the customers so they were trying to make a connection and build trusted customers. I love that.
We were not in a hurry but had time to explore. This was my second day visiting the fair so I already knew what to expect. I visited some of the shops that I couldn't on day 1 and it was worth it.
I have come across so many different products, especially handicraft products and hand-stitched female clothing, they were amazing.
The price was a little high compared to the market. But I don't mind paying a little more for the hand-stitched products and helping the small local business.
I took my mother-in-law this time with me and she was too obsessed with the handmade product shops. I bought her a hand-stitched scarf and some table mats.
This is the shop I'm talking about. Just look at their collection. They have so many varieties of wall mats and decor. The colors were so vibrant, the work was so detailed; the photos couldn't do justice.
The mirror work, the glass art, the painting; everything was perfect to me. But the price seems a bit too high. I have seen so many DIY of these types of mats that as a nerd I thought I shouldn't pay that much but rather DIY something for myself later on.
Anyway, we bought a few other things and were happy about the whole experience.
It was an evening full of excitement and fun. We bought a few products and had a good meal at the fair shops as well. Keep in touch to see more of my shopping adventure.
It's great that there are spaces like this and, as you say, you can buy directly from the producer or artisan.
I know, right? It felt good to be on this fair.
I like to go to this kind of fair.☺
I too like these fairs. Good to know about you :)
Indeed colorful, and of course fancy!
I know, right?
Thanks :)
