It was a day of blending with nature and adventure in the village.

First, we decided to visit the local river, a channel of the Tista River. There's a huge pathway beside both sides of the river so walking there is a tranquil adventure. But unfortunately, because of the harsh humid weather, we couldn't spend much time there.

You can't tell by seeing the view. Can you?

We took a concrete bench but couldn't sit there for a minute because of the humidity, it felt like we were melting.

My son had the most of the visit. He was chasing the baby goats and playing with them and seeing the kidding made our tour much more enjoyable.

We moved on to the other side of the river to find some shade and have some refreshments.

And look, what we have found!

A village market. This afternoon vegetable market was full of freshly picked veggies from the village. The aroma of freshly harvested vegetables filled the air, and there was something so fulfilling about seeing the farmers and vendors, all offering their best.

We didn't resist and bought a handful of vegetables for our home.

The vibrant colors of fresh produce immediately caught my attention. Especially the potatoes, we usually don't find all these in our urban market and super shop. And the price was comparatively low.

On our way back home we found a small bicycle repair shop. Yes, that's it, the small hut. But see, no one complaining but having a good chat there.

It reminded me how close to the earth these people live, working with the land and living in and for the communities.

From the calm riverbank to this small marketplace, a perfect escape from the busy hum of everyday life. There was noise but not like city noises, the continuous car horns. The market was busy not like us, full of lights and music.

I love exploring such places. It brings such a unique adventure for us.

We could feel the timeless connection between the river and the village as if it’s been nourishing life here for centuries.

I wish I could go more often to such places.

What a very busy market. And your son with the goat is soooo cute. I never held a baby goat before but I want to try one day. Anyways, thats one enjoyable walk for sure.

Baby goats are just like small puppies or kittens; cute, soft, and friendly.
We really enjoyed the tour.

Wow!
Village life!
I grew up in the village and I can relate very well with all these.
The bicycle repairing centers is one that that has gone into extinction for a lot of places. You can only see such in a deep, typical rural area.

You guys had fun👌

Being a city girl, even I sometimes feel I have missed out a lot of adventure of village living.
I agree, those types of small shops can only be found in deep rural area.
Thanks for your response. Have a great day.
