Christmas is an event of joy and happiness. It is a time when the whole town decorates their place and comes together to celebrate Christmas, whether they are Christians or not. Christmas is one of my favorite festivals. Christmas is celebrated to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Kids always dream of meeting Santa at this time, and I used to wish for gifts from Santa when I was a kid. Since childhood, I have celebrated Christmas very joyfully. I always used to decorate a Christmas tree. People exchange gifts and celebrate Christmas. It is the dream of every child to meet Santa.
This year also celebrates it equally or more joyfully. I again decorated a Christmas tree, but this year it got a bit taller than last year. It cost me 200 rupees (in Indian currency), or about 2 dollars. I also brought decorations, like balls and stars. The Christmas tree is approx. 4.5 feet tall. I used two lights—red and white—to enjoy the Christmas vibe. I used cotton to give it a snow effect. I bought this Christmas tree a week ago and decorated it three days ago. Yesterday, I bought a cake to cut at 12:00 am to celebrate Christmas with my family. My family and my relatives all loved my decorations I hope you all also liked it.
My family also loves to celebrate Christmas. This cake was a chocolate truffle cake, and special told the baker to give it a Christmas theme. It cost me 700 rupees (in Indian currency), or about 8 dollars. Then we cut the cake at 12:00 am. I also wished all my friends and family merry Christmas. My father told when he used to be a kid he also used to decorate a Christmas tree. Last year my maternal uncle also accompanied me in celebrating Christmas.
