Hello Everyone!
I am thrilled to be writing here! I have been away for so long, and since joining this wonderful community, I haven't had the chance to share my thoughts.
This year started off well for me, though it did have its challenges. I faced some health issues and experienced a bit of depression, but then, unexpectedly, life added beautiful colors, and I found happiness as everything began to fall into place.
I recently moved to a new home because I got married, and the process of settling in has been quite the adventure. Every day has involved arranging and rearranging spaces—whether in the kitchen, bedroom, or living room. It has been enjoyable adding my own touch to our new space; my previous home was a studio apartment, which didn’t allow much room for furniture.
Since moving here, the electricity supply has been excellent, encouraging me to acquire more electronics to simplify my daily tasks. The water quality is acceptable, though I have noticed some spyrogyra in the bathwater, so I prefer not to drink tap water. Instead, I buy water in bags, and let me tell you, I drink a lot! My spouse and I usually finish one bag each day. While it’s not overly expensive, it does add up.
I suggested we invest in a water filter, and we placed the order. It was delivered yesterday, and I was so excited that I set everything up before my spouse returned from work. We tested the water, and our tap water registered as quite acidic at 6.0 on the pH scale. After filtration, the water was a neutral 7-7.5, which is fantastic! The filter works, and I’m thrilled!
We also purchased a new, advanced blender. Although the brand is quite popular and there is a lot of fakes out there we purchased it regardless despite being a bit pricey, it has proven to be worth every penny. I assembled it with pride and, to test its capabilities, blended a variety of ingredients this morning. In my excitement, I even prepared iftar—who makes iftar in the morning? Apparently, I do!
Staying at home can be a bit dull, especially as I have no television and cable even with constant electricity, but my beautiful cat, Sou, keeps me company.
As a remote worker, how do you stay busy? I’d love to hear your tips—we can learn from each other!
See you all next time! Have a wonderful day!
