Enero fue un mes lleno de aventuras y nuevas experiencias.
Siento que tuve el tiempo para organizar algunos aspectos de mi vida y para disfrutar de otros.
Hubo un par de primeras veces y también algunos retos importantes que al final pude sortear de forma victoriosa.
Visitar Villa de Leyva me recordó que hay un mundo fuera de las cuatro paredes de mi casa, y de las pantallas, que hay mucho por ver y conocer. Pasar mi adolescencia y el inicio de adultez en la Venezuela del 2011-2021 limitó mi vida en muchos sentidos, y toda las energías estaban puestas en sacar una carrera universitaria en medio de una situación política y económica compleja.
Migrar tuvo otra importante etapa de dudas e incertidumbre, de caminar un camino pensando en una meta que no sabría si podría obtener (todo lo relacionado a la posibilidad de ejercer mi carrera acá). Y después, regresar al mundo acádemico sin saber si tenía buenas bases de conocimiento (hasta ahora parece que si🤭)
Ahora que muchas cosas empiezan a ordenarse, siento que respiro.
Que vivo más y sobrevivo menos

January was a month full of adventures and new experiences.
I feel like I had the time to organize some aspects of my life and to enjoy others.
There were a couple of firsts and also some major challenges that in the end I was able to navigate victoriously.
Visiting Villa de Leyva reminded me that there is a world outside the four walls of my house, and screens, that there is so much to see and know. Spending my adolescence and early adulthood in the Venezuela of 2011-2021 limited my life in many ways, and all my energies were focused on getting a university degree in the midst of a complex political and economic situation.
Migrating had another important stage of doubts and uncertainty, of walking a path thinking about a goal that I did not know if I could obtain (everything related to the possibility of exercising my career here). And then, returning to the academic world without knowing if I had a good knowledge base (until now it seems that I do🤭).
Now that many things are starting to get in order, I feel that I breathe.
That I live more and survive less.
