| Hello friends of Lyfestyle, I wish all the community a happy Friday. Here I share with great joy what was this part of my trip to the beautiful coast of Aragua state, specifically in the tropical area of Choroní. Touring and knowing how is the process of fishing in this place, washing, selling and much more. In this opportunity we shared in a special way with a guide of the town, that everyone knows him by the nickname of Chumi, who took us to know all this, that perhaps many other people do not know and do not have the opportunity to do so. In addition, this great friend is not only a guide, but he is also part of the people who play drums in the village and belongs to the group that sings in the festivals of the region. It is a privilege for us to be able to count on him. In addition, we also shared a tasty cocada and beer. Doing multiple things on the trips is what makes the town of Puerto Colombia, Choroní, so much more enjoyable. As you can see in the photos, the joy of everyone, the work of the fishermen and, of course, the whole process since the fishermen arrive in their boats to the village. A sharing with my partner, which was extremely different from the usual, since we had never been inside such a place, and in which we met new things. 💟🙌 | Hola amigos de Lyfestyle, les deseo a toda la comunidad un feliz viernes. Aquí les comparto con mucha alegría lo que fue esta parte de mi viaje a las bellas costas del estado Aragua, específicamente en la zona tropical de Choroní. Recorriendo y conociendo cómo es el proceso de la pesca en este lugar, el lavado, la venta y mucho más. En esta oportunidad compartimos de manera especial con un guía del pueblo, que todo el mundo lo conoce con el apodo de Chumi, el cual nos llevó a conocer todo esto, que quizás muchas otras personas no conocen y tampoco tienen la oportunidad de hacerlo. Además, este gran amigo no solo es guía, sino que también es parte de las personas que tocan tambores en el pueblo y pertenece al grupo que canta en los festivales de la región. Un privilegio para nosotros poder contar con él. Además, también compartimos una sabrosa cocada y cerveza. Haciendo múltiples cosas en los viajes es que se disfruta mucho más el pueblo en Puerto Colombia, Choroní. Tal cual, como pueden ver en las fotos, la alegría de todos, el trabajo de los pescadores y, por supuesto, todo el proceso desde que los pescadores llegan en sus botes al pueblo. Un compartir con mi pareja, que fue sumamente diferente a lo habitual, ya que nunca habíamos estado dentro de un lugar así, y en el cual conocimos cosas nuevas. 💟🙌 |

| In this opportunity I share with you what was this part of our trip to Choroní, while we were getting to know everything about fishing. It is incredible that the fishermen travel from 2 to 3 hours to the open sea to be able to fish, totally incommunicado and in these boats so small compared to a boat. Not only that, but many fishermen do it even at night, when it is cooler and the sea is so dangerous, that you really have to be very brave. As you can see in the pictures, we were there when a boat arrived in town and we went directly to where they transfer the fish. There we were able to observe how they wash them, how they take out what they do not sell and throw it back into the sea, and even give it to the cats, which are in an area of the town. I don't really recognize the fish when I see them, but the names I remember they told us about are the dorado fish, jacks, snapper and of course the tuna. In addition, we saw how they weigh them, the value they have in the market and how they sell them to the people or trucks that are dedicated to the fish market. It is impressive that each fisherman earns, to give you an example, per weight of fish, 0.50 dollars to 1.5 dollars per kilo, depending on the type of fish, and that in the markets the kilo can cost from 5 to 10 times more than its value per kilo. These people risk their lives at the bottom of the sea, and they are really born with it, because the passion with which we saw them doing all these activities was spectacular. We were also able to observe that they make ice in the factory and we even went into their freezer, which is quite large and incredibly cold. Really knowing all this on the trip has added much more to our unforgettable experience. ❤️ But not only that was special, but also our friend Chumi gave us a small goldfish, which we took back to the city to prepare it in the next few days. I thank all the people who guided us and showed us this part of the town's fishing, the place where we were, which is right next to the boardwalk and in front of the boats, in a giant shed. Without a doubt, I will always recommend this tropical paradise, not only for its beaches, but also for its people, its good food and the natural atmosphere that makes you stay longer. Actually, we would have loved to stay longer. Although it was several days, one remains very happy with life. I really hope you liked this content, dedicated this time to fishing in the coasts of my country, while sharing this trip with my partner. Hope you have a great Friday and weekend. 🙌💟 | En esta oportunidad les comparto lo que fue este pedazo de nuestro viaje a Choroní, mientras conocíamos todo lo referente a la pesca. Es increíble que los pescadores recorren de 2 a 3 horas al mar abierto para poder pescar, totalmente incomunicados y en estos botes tan pequeños en comparación a un barco. Además, no solo eso, sino que muchos lo hacen inclusive de noche, que es más fresco el ambiente, y todo lo que representa el mar de peligroso, que de verdad hay que ser muy valientes. Como pueden observar en las imágenes, estuvimos cuando llegó un bote al pueblo y fuimos directamente a donde trasladan a los peces. Ahí pudimos observar cómo los lavan, cómo le sacan lo que no venden y se lo echan de nuevo al mar, inclusive también le dan a los gatos, que están en una zona del pueblo. Realmente no reconozco los peces al verlos, pero de los nombres que recuerdo que nos dijeron son el pescado dorado, jureles, pargo y por supuesto los atunes. Además, vimos cómo los pesan, el valor que tienen en el mercado y a cómo los venden a las personas o camiones que se dedican a la pescadería. Impresionante que cada pescador gana, por decirles un ejemplo, por peso del pescado, 0,50 dólares a 1.5 dólares por kilo, dependiendo del tipo de pescado, y que en los mercados el kilo pueda costar desde 5 a 10 veces más a su valor por kilo. Estas personas arriesgan sus vidas en el fondo del mar, y de verdad que nacen con eso, porque la pasión con la que vimos realizando todas estas actividades fue espectacular. También pudimos observar que en la fábrica hacen hielo y entramos inclusive a su congelador que es bastante grande y pega un frío increíble. De verdad que conocer todo esto en el viaje ha sumado mucho más a nuestra experiencia inolvidable. ❤️ Pero no solo eso fue especial, sino que también el amigo Chumi nos regaló un pez dorado pequeño, y el cual nos llevamos a la ciudad, para prepararlo en los próximos días. Agradezco a todas las personas que nos guiaron y mostraron esta parte de la pesca del pueblo, el lugar donde estábamos que queda justo al lado del malecón y frente a las lanchas, en un galpón gigante. Sin lugar a dudas, siempre les voy a recomendar este paraíso tropical, no solo por sus playas, sino por su gente, su buena comida y que se respira tan natural, que provoca quedarse por más tiempo. En realidad, nos hubiese encantado quedarnos más tiempo. Aunque fueron varios días, uno queda demasiado feliz de la vida. De verdad espero que les haya gustado este contenido, dedicado en esta oportunidad a la pesca en las costas de mi país, mientras compartía este viaje con mi pareja. Esta vez no fue un tema deportivo, ni tampoco de rutina o comida, sino de la hermosa Choroní. Leer tu post me hizo suspirar por la belleza de este pueblo y su gentilicio, extraño mucho la aventura de un domingo salir a tomar café en bicicleta y terminar en la playa, comiendo pescado frito, tostones y ensalada. Disfrute mucho lo que cuentas de la pesca y la valentía de los pescadores porque he visto en primera persona lo agitado del mar (atemorizante), sufro cuando vamos en lancha a algún pueblo de estos lados, luego se me olvida.
