This Sunday we decided to explore a new bookstore we were told about, located in “La Vela” shopping center. The bookstore goes by the name “a&b BOOKCAFE,” which means “Bookstore Café.” It has an English style that, although it was not yet open to the public, promises to become a cozy and ideal space to read a book while enjoying a snack. The managers informed us that they will officially open next weekend, as they were finalizing some details.Greetings dear #lifestyle friends, I hope you had a great weekend. I want to tell you how I spent my Sunday, a day full of little adventures and details that made it special for my husband and me.
Este domingo decidimos explorar una nueva librería de la que nos hablaron, ubicada en el centro comercial “La Vela”. La librería lleva por nombre “a&b BOOKCAFE,” que significa “Librería Café.” Tiene un estilo inglés que, aunque aún no estaba abierto al público, promete convertirse en un espacio acogedor e ideal para leer un libro mientras se disfruta de una merienda. Los encargados nos informaron que abrirán oficialmente el próximo fin de semana, ya que estaban ultimando algunos detalles.Saludos queridos amigos del #lifestyle, espero que hayan tenido un fin de semana excelente. Les quiero contar cómo pasé mi domingo, un día lleno de pequeñas aventuras y detalles que hicieron que fuera especial para mi esposo y para mí.
Unable to completely fulfill our goal of visiting the bookstore, we decided to tour the rest of the mall. It's funny how, even though I have visited “La Vela” multiple times, I always find something new and exciting to discover. I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the recent changes. They have incorporated new premises with modern designs and very strategically located, transforming the environment into something more attractive.
One of the aisles especially caught my attention. It now has a barbershop and a hairdresser's shop, and right in front of them they installed a coffee shop. I thought the idea was great: a place where clients can relax and enjoy themselves while waiting for their turn or after their appointment. Its style is so cozy that it makes you stop to eat or have a drink there.
Al no poder cumplir completamente nuestro objetivo de visitar la librería, decidimos recorrer el resto del centro comercial. Es curioso cómo, aunque haya visitado “La Vela” múltiples veces, siempre encuentro algo nuevo y emocionante que descubrir. Debo admitir que quedé gratamente sorprendida por los cambios recientes. Han incorporado nuevos locales con diseños modernos y muy estratégicamente ubicados, transformando el ambiente en algo más atractivo.
Uno de los pasillos llamó especialmente mi atención. Ahora cuenta con una barbería y una peluquería, y justo frente a ellos instalaron una cafetería. La idea me pareció genial: un lugar donde los clientes pueden relajarse y disfrutar mientras esperan su turno o después de su cita. Su estilo es tan acogedor que provoca detenerse a comer o tomar algo allí.
In another space in the hallway, we discovered a new location called “SYMMETRIA Centro Clínico.” This location offers a variety of medical services including cosmetic surgery, dentistry, and lab work, among others. I found it to be a great option for those looking to improve their physical and mental health, as well as being an excellent addition to the mall's services.
En otro espacio del pasillo, descubrimos un local nuevo llamado “SYMMETRIA Centro Clínico.” Este sitio ofrece una variedad de servicios médicos que incluyen cirugía estética, odontología y análisis de laboratorio, entre otros. Me pareció una gran opción para quienes buscan mejorar su salud física y mental, además de ser una excelente adición a los servicios del centro comercial.
After walking and exploring, we found a corner with large windows overlooking the marina. I stopped for a while to contemplate the sea. There is something special about watching it; it's as if time stands still, and with the weather being so pleasant, I couldn't have imagined a more perfect moment. From a comfortable armchair, I allowed myself to enjoy the centralized air conditioning while soaking up the peaceful and relaxing view.
Después de caminar y explorar, encontramos un rincón con ventanales que daban a la marina. Me detuve un rato para contemplar el mar. Hay algo especial en observarlo; es como si el tiempo se detuviera, y con el clima tan agradable que hacía, no podría haber imaginado un momento más perfecto. Desde un butacón cómodo, me permití disfrutar del aire acondicionado centralizado mientras absorbía esa vista tan tranquila y relajante.
When we felt it was time to head back, we remembered our pets who were surely looking forward to lunch. Before heading home, we made one last stop at the Rio market to buy them something special. I wanted to spoil them a little, since it was also Sunday for them and they deserved something different. During the week I cook them a varied menu that includes beef, liver and rice, but on Sundays I like to give them a change. I opted for a meat perrarina with vitamins and minerals that I know Coki and Solo love, although Frida also enjoys it. Of course, she is the most selective of the three, she prefers the perrarina with vegetables and chicken, but even so she doesn't complain and eats whatever we give her with pleasure.
Cuando sentimos que ya era hora de regresar, nos acordamos de nuestras mascotas que seguramente nos esperaban con ansias para almorzar. Antes de ir a casa, hicimos una última parada en el mercado Río para comprarles algo especial. Quise consentirlos un poco, ya que también era domingo para ellos y merecían algo diferente. Durante la semana les cocino un menú variado que incluye bofe, hígado y arroz, pero los domingos me gusta darles un cambio. Opté por una perrarina de carne con vitaminas y minerales que sé que a Coki y Solo les encanta, aunque Frida también la disfruta. Eso sí, ella es la más selectiva de los tres, prefiere la perrarina con vegetales y pollo, pero aun así no se queja y come lo que le demos con gusto.
With bags in hand and the satisfaction of having had a good day, we finally headed home to enjoy the rest of Sunday in the company of our beloved pets. It was a simple day but full of special moments.

Con las bolsas en mano y la satisfacción de haber pasado un buen día, finalmente nos dirigimos a casa para disfrutar del resto del domingo en compañía de nuestras queridas mascotas. Fue una jornada sencilla pero llena de momentos especiales.
