Good morning, dear #lifestyle friends! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend. Mine was a little different this time, as my husband had to work and my son went out with some friends. So I spent much of the morning at home, enjoying some quiet, relaxing time.
My husband was leaving the hotel at 3:00 in the afternoon, so after lunch, I decided to take advantage of the time to run some errands. I had in mind to check out some potted plants on the road to Portachuelo before picking him up.
¡Buenos días, queridos amigos de #lifestyle! Espero que estén disfrutando de un fin de semana maravilloso. El mío ha sido un poco diferente esta vez, ya que mi esposo tuvo que trabajar y mi hijo salió con unos amigos. Así que pasé gran parte de la mañana en casa, disfrutando de un tiempo tranquilo y relajado.
Mi esposo iba a salir del hotel a las 3:00 de la tarde, así que después de almorzar, decidí aprovechar el tiempo para hacer algunas diligencias. Tenía en mente pasar a ver unas macetas en la vía a Portachuelo antes de recogerlo.
When I arrived, Mr. Luis, who is in charge of preparing the molds for the pots, welcomed me with a smile and showed me his workshop. He explained that by the middle of the week he would have the pot I had ordered ready. It was interesting to see the process and appreciate the artisan work he does, he has to make in wood the shape of the pot that you ask for, or any other piece since he not only makes pots, after unmolding he blocks them, so that they are ready and are not easily wanted, it is an interesting job.
Al llegar, el señor Luis, quien se encarga de preparar los moldes para las macetas, me recibió con una sonrisa y me mostró su taller. Me explicó que para mediados de la semana tendría lista la maceta que había encargado. Fue interesante ver el proceso y apreciar el trabajo artesanal que realiza, el tiene que hacer en madera la forma de la maceta que le pidan, o de cualquier otra pieza ya que no tan solo hace macetas, después de desmoldar el las cuadra, para que estén listas y no se quieren fácilmente, es un trabajo interesante.
After my visit to the workshop, the most comfortable place to walk around was the Portachuelo viewpoint, which was recently repaired by the mayor's office of Gómez. The place was really beautiful, with a spectacular view of the natural environment. I always stop there to enjoy the scenery, and since I had plenty of time before picking up my husband, I didn't worry about the time.
Después de mi visita al taller, el lugar más cómodo para dar la vuelta, era el mirador de Portachuelo, que recientemente fue reparado por la alcaldía de Gómez. El lugar quedó realmente hermoso, con una vista espectacular del entorno natural. Siempre me detengo allí para disfrutar del paisaje y, como tenía tiempo de sobra antes de recoger a mi esposo, por esa razón no me preocupé por la hora.
Finally, I set out on my way to the hotel to arrive just in time. On the way out, we decided to stop by La Caracola beach, which had open access for vehicles. We stopped for a while in front of the sea, something I always love to do. Seeing the palm trees and listening to the sound of the waves is an experience that connects me deeply with nature, if only for a few minutes.
Finalmente, emprendí mi camino hacia el hotel para llegar justo a tiempo. Al salir, decidimos pasar por la playa La Caracola, que tenía el acceso a los vehículos abierto. Nos detuvimos un rato frente al mar, algo que siempre me encanta hacer. Ver las palmeras y escuchar el sonido de las olas es una experiencia que me conecta profundamente con la naturaleza, aunque sea por unos minutos.
After contemplating the sea and enjoying the sea breeze, we continued our tour, passing by the ecological park at the other end of La Caracola. I was surprised to see that it was still empty, which allowed us to take some pictures of the place quietly.
Después de contemplar el mar y disfrutar de la brisa marina, continuamos nuestro recorrido, pasado por el parque ecológico que se encuentra al otro extremo de La Caracola. Me sorprendió ver que aún estaba vacío, lo cual nos permitió tomar algunas fotografías del lugar tranquilamente.
