I wish you a great and restful day! Today was a special day for us. I didn't have to work and neither did my husband, so we decided to do some shopping for the week. Since there were only a few things, and our son was going to the beach with his friends, he lent us his motorcycle. It dawned a bit cloudy, but we went to different parts of the city anyway.
¡Les deseo un día genial y descansado! Hoy el día fue especial para nosotros. No tuve que trabajar y mi esposo tampoco, así que decidimos hacer unas compras para la semana. Como eran pocas cosas, y nuestro hijo iba para la playa con sus amigos, nos prestó la moto. Amaneció un tanto nublado, pero de igual manera fuimos a diferentes puntos de la ciudad.
At some points we had to take shelter because it rained, and I confess that I did not believe it would happen. After the unexpected rain, the sun came out in force, quickly drying the streets and making the landscapes look more beautiful than ever.
En algunos momentos tuvimos que guarecernos porque llovió, y les confieso que no creí que sucediera. Después de la inesperada lluvia, el sol salió con fuerza, secando rápidamente las calles y haciendo que los paisajes se vieran más hermosos que nunca.
As is normal on the island, after a stormy rain, the sun comes out so that the streets are dry and the natural and urban landscapes are radiant.
Como es algo normal en la isla, después de una lluvia tempestuosa sale el sol de tal manera que quedan las calles secas y los paisajes naturales y urbanos se ven radiantes.
When we decided to go back home, my husband suggested that we have a chicha at the entrance to the valley. There is a place that prepares the most delicious chicha I have ever tasted. We sat down and enjoyed that refreshing drink, remembering other times we had been there and done the same thing. Those little traditions that become part of your life and bring a smile to your face every time we repeat them.
Cuando ya decidimos ir de vuelta a casa, mi esposo me sugirió tomarnos una chicha en la entrada del Valle. Hay un lugar que prepara las chichas más deliciosas que he probado. Nos sentamos y disfrutamos de esa bebida refrescante, recordando otras veces que habíamos pasado por allí y habíamos hecho lo mismo. Esas pequeñas tradiciones que se convierten en parte de tu vida y te traen una sonrisa cada vez que las repetimos.
After finishing our delicious chicha, we crossed the street and bought some fresh fruit. Thanks to Mr. Francisco, the friendly fruit vendor, who was as always offering his fresh and quality products. He is always stocked with, lechosa, coconut, tangerine and melon, enjoying Francisco's conversation and kindness. It is always a pleasure to stop by his stand; his dedication and love for what he does is evident in each of the products he offers.
Después de terminar nuestra deliciosa chicha, cruzamos la calle y compramos unas frutas frescas. Gracias al señor Francisco, el amable vendedor de frutas, que estaba como siempre ofreciendo sus productos frescos y de calidad. Siempre está surtido con, lechosa, coco, mandarina y melón, disfrutando de la conversación y la amabilidad de Francisco. Siempre es un placer pasar por su puesto; su dedicación y amor por lo que hace es evidente en cada uno de los productos que ofrece.
With the shopping done and the palate satisfied, we continued on our way home appreciating our surroundings.

Que bonita con el casco de la moto , aquí el día ha estado hoy nublado, amenazó lluvia pero nada de eso, se mantuvo la temperatura fresca . Que rica la chicha es muy refrescante, lindo paseo
Creo que en todas partes del mundo el clima es un poco loco, aquí solo llueve en diciembre o noviembre por lo general y ya ves, pero siempre hay una temperatura cálida.
La chicha es una opción refrescante si está bien hecha.
