The sky was cloudy, but we had to enjoy my husband's last day of vacation. It is something we have a tradition at home: to say goodbye to the vacations. We always try to be on a trip together, but this time it was not possible. However, that didn't stop us from enjoying great moments and incredible experiences.
As soon as the sun came out, the three of us left the house with the idea of eating pizza at a new place for us, called Vila Maior C.A.
We used my husband's phone to guide us, always appreciating the beautiful landscapes under the cloudy sky.
El cielo estaba nublado, pero teníamos que disfrutar del último día de vacaciones de mi esposo. Es algo que tenemos por tradición en la casa: despedir las vacaciones. Siempre tratamos de estar de viaje juntos, pero en esta ocasión no pudo ser. Sin embargo, no por eso dejamos de disfrutar momentos geniales y experiencias increíbles.
En cuanto salió el sol, los tres salimos de casa con la idea de comer pizza en un lugar nuevo para nosotros, llamado Vila Maior C.A.
Usamos el teléfono de mi esposo para guiarnos, siempre apreciando los hermosos paisajes bajo el cielo nublado.
Finally, we arrived at the right place. It took us a while to find it because the name was not well visible on the outside and it did not have a clear sign.
Finalmente, llegamos al lugar indicado. Nos costó un poco encontrarlo porque el nombre no estaba bien visible en su exterior y no tenía un anuncio claro.
At the entrance, there were some rather unique and eye-catching concrete chairs.
En la entrada, había unas sillas de concreto bastante singulares y llamativas.
I tell you that the place was very cozy and had many different environments for different tastes. The pizzeria area had a different type of table and a golden glass bar where the pizza was prepared, and we could see the whole process. As the day was rainy, the pizza maker arrived a little late, so we had to discard the idea of eating a pizza. I confess that I would have liked to try them, because the atmosphere of the place was super nice and, above all, air-conditioned.
Les cuento que el lugar era muy acogedor y tenía muchos ambientes diferentes para distintos gustos. El área de la pizzería tenía un tipo de mesa diferente y una barra dorada de cristal donde se preparaba la pizza, pudiendo ver todo el proceso. Como el día estaba lluvioso, el encargado de elaborar las pizzas llegó un poco más tarde, así que tuvimos que descartar la idea de comer una pizza. Confieso que me hubiera gustado probarlas, porque el ambiente del local era súper agradable y, sobre todo, climatizado.
This place is new and has just opened its doors, and is currently promoting its services. It has machines to make coffee, from grinding the beans to a brew at the moment. I also saw that they have a cappuccino vending machine and different types of coffee. Their ice cream machine could not be missed.
Este lugar es nuevo y recién abrió sus puertas, está dando a conocer sus servicios. Tiene máquinas para hacer café, desde moler el grano hasta una coladita al momento. También vi que tienen una máquina dispensadora de capuchino y diferentes tipos de café. Su máquina de helado de barquilla no podía faltar.
Since it was raining so hard, I had enough time to walk around and explore each of its spaces very well.
It also has a bakery and sweet shop with a great variety of irresistible sweets. My son and my husband ordered two bombs filled with arequipe, and I only ordered a small malta. They were fascinated because the bombs were very well filled.
Como llovía tan fuerte, tuve tiempo suficiente para caminar y explorar muy bien cada uno de sus espacios.
También cuenta con una panadería y dulcería con gran variedad de dulces irresistibles. Mi hijo y mi esposo pidieron dos bombas rellenas de arequipe, y yo solo pedí una malta pequeña. Ellos quedaron fascinados porque las bombas estaban muy bien rellenas.
The tables and chairs in this candy store environment were different; the tables were wooden and very beautiful. I loved the ceiling and light fixtures, as well as everything in the store, which looked very well laid out, making the space look large and very nice.
Las mesas y sillas de este ambiente de dulcería eran diferentes; las mesas eran de madera y muy hermosas. El techo y la luminaria me encantaron, al igual que todo en el local, que se veía muy bien distribuido, haciendo que el espacio se viera grande y muy agradable.
The service is ideal and, to make the experience even better, they accept all forms of payment, which makes everything flow easily.
La atención es ideal y, para mejorar aún más la experiencia, aceptan toda forma de pago, lo que hace que todo fluya fácilmente.
After lunch, we decided to look for another place to eat pizza. It was an almost quixotic idea, because the rain came down hard and almost all the places were closing as a precaution. So we went home, made popcorn and watched movies, which is a healthy way to spend time together as well.
Después de merendar, decidimos buscar otro lugar para comer pizza. Era una idea casi quijotesca, porque la lluvia arreció mucho y casi todos los lugares fueron cerrando por precaución. Así que nos fuimos a casa, hicimos palomitas y vimos películas, que es una forma sana de pasar el tiempo juntos también.
I will come back to this place another time when the weather doesn't play a trick on us, so I can enjoy it better, as I liked its modern architecture.

Me pareció interesante cómo lograste equilibrar lo positivo con los pequeños inconvenientes, como la falta de un anuncio visible o la espera por el encargado de las pizzas, sin perder el tono ameno y explorador. Sin duda, quedé con ganas de saber más sobre la comida que ofrecen, especialmente esas bombas rellenas de arequipe que sonaron deliciosas y las donas también se ven muy ricas.
