That looks like a fun hike, some definite elevation and steepness near the top. It always feels good to reach the top doesn't it?
Down on the other had is hard on these routes, trekking poles are nice for this purpose. But unless you want to buy some expensive gear, mejor bajar con mucho cuidado!
Hiking is always fun and I enjoy it very much. So at some point I think I would buy the pole for more adventures.
