¡Saludos amigos! Espero que su 2024 haya sido muy dichoso y de crecimiento emocional, espiritual y mental ✨ para dar comienzo a un 2025 en completa armonía.
La primera semana de este año salí con mi ahijada, primos, mi mamá y mi esposo al balneario que queda cerca de donde vive mi mamá. De regreso dimos un recorrido por la plaza de Araure, que se encontraba bastante solitaria 😅 y allí nos tomamos fotitos para el recuerdo 😉. La plaza de Araure está a solo unas cuadras del balneario, se puede decir que comenzamos el año con una buena caminata.
Salimos bien temprano el día viernes de la semana pasada, cargados de pan dulce, refresco, torta, galletas y mucha pero mucha agua. Tardamos 40 minutos para llegar porque íbamos con niños y pues hacíamos pequeñas paradas técnicas para descansar 😅.
El lugar se encontraba muy lleno; sin embargo, el ambiente estaba bastante tranquilo porque no se permite el ingreso de bebidas alcohólicas.
Nos metimos al agua desde las 10 de la mañana y salimos con dedos de pasas 😅, mi esposo y yo intentamos de todo para enseñarle a uno de mis primos a flotar y fue un intento fallido, le dijimos que no lo íbamos a soltar, que no se iba a hundir, pero no hubo palabras que lo hicieran confiar. Lo más chistoso es que aunque no quiso flotar quería estar debajo del agua como un pescado.
Nos retiramos del lugar horas más tarde y seguimos nuestro tour rumbo a la plaza. Allí tomé unas fotos de la iglesia, solo por fuera ya que se encontraba cerrada. La plaza estaba resguardada únicamente por Simón Bolívar montado en su caballo y por las iguanas que reposaban en las ramas de los árboles.
Mis primitos se sentían dueños de aquella plaza corriendo para acá y para allá, a esos muchachos como les encanta correr. Yo sentía mis pies adoloridos, ya pedían descanso 😅.
Después de recargar energía en la plaza, llegó el momento del retorno, que fue sin prisa, disfrutando de la brisa que nos acompañaba. Al llegar a la casa terminamos con un rico plato de lentejas para atraer la prosperidad 😊✨
Creo que comenzamos el año con buen pie y ganas de seguir recorriendo los caminos de Portuguesa 🤭

The first week of this year I went out with my goddaughter, cousins, my mom and my husband to the spa that is close to where my mom lives. On the way back we took a tour of the Araure square, which was quite lonely 😅 and there we took pictures for the memory 😉. The square of Araure is only a few blocks away from the beach, so you can say that we started the year with a good walk.
We left very early on Friday of last week, loaded with sweet bread, soda, cake, cookies and lots and lots of water. It took us 40 minutes to get there because we were going with children and we made small technical stops to rest 😅.
The place was very crowded; however, the atmosphere was quite calm because no alcoholic beverages are allowed.
We got into the water since 10 am and came out with raisin fingers 😅, my husband and I tried everything to teach one of my cousins to float and it was a failed attempt, we told him that we were not going to let him go, that he was not going to sink, but there were no words that made him trust. The funny thing is that even though he didn't want to float he wanted to be underwater like a fish.
We left the place hours later and continued our tour towards the plaza. There I took some pictures of the church, only from the outside since it was closed. The square was guarded only by Simon Bolivar on his horse and the iguanas resting on the branches of the trees.
My little cousins felt like they owned that square running here and there, those boys love to run. I felt my feet sore, they were already asking for rest 😅.
After recharging energy in the square, it was time to return, which was unhurried, enjoying the breeze that accompanied us. When we arrived home we finished with a delicious dish of lentils to attract prosperity 😊✨
I think we started the year with good foot and desire to continue traveling the roads of Portuguesa 🤭
