Hello friends, a few weeks ago in the city where I live a new ice cream shop opened and I have been wanting to go, especially because my mother started working there and has spoken very well to me about the place. Finally, this weekend we decided to go all together as a family and spend a nice night.
Hola amigos, hace unas semanas en la ciudad donde vivo abrió una nueva heladería y he estado queriendo ir, sobre todo porque mi mamá comenzó a trabajar allí y me ha hablado muy bien del lugar. Finalmente, este fin de semana decidimos ir todos juntos en familia y pasar una noche agradable.
The place is called "The best açaí", and although I was surprised to see the name in English, I think it gives it a unique and special touch. Acai is a very popular fruit here in Brazil, as it is a very healthy food and the perfect ingredient to mix with all ice cream flavors. In fact, my coworkers always ask me if I have already eaten it, because it is something very typical and people here really like it.
Upon entering, the place seemed quite cozy and very pretty, the tables decorated with plants and the walls with striking decoration and vibrant colors. They had a BIG bear in Christmas clothes and a special little corner to take some cute couple photos. The sign in Portuguese says "Do your best."
El lugar se llama "The best açaí", y aunque me sorprendí al ver el nombre en inglés, creo que le da un toque único y especial. El asaí es un fruto muy popular aquí en Brasil, pues es un alimento muy saludable y el ingrediente perfecto para mezclar con todos los sabores de helado. De hecho, mis compañeros de trabajo siempre me preguntan si ya lo he comido, pues es algo muy típico y a las personas aquí les gusta mucho.
Al entrar, el lugar me pareció bastante acogedor y muy bonito, las mesas adornadas con plantas y las paredes con una decoración llamativa y colores vibrantes. Tenían un GRAN oso con ropas navideñas y un rinconcito especial para tomarse unas lindas fotos en pareja. El cartel en portugués pone "Haz tu mejor esfuerzo".

On the left were all the ice creams, which you help yourself to. There you choose the container of the size you prefer and start choosing the flavors to prepare the ice cream to your liking. Then there are a variety of accompaniments that you can add to the ice cream such as sorbets, chocolates and fruits. We can't miss the chocolate fountain which you can use to cover your masterpiece 😋, and you can choose between traditional chocolate or white chocolate. They also offer several drinks such as soft drinks and juices, and of course, you can't miss a delicious milkshake that they prepare to your liking.
A la izquierda estaban todos los helados, los cuales te sirves tu mismo. Allí eliges el envase del tamaño que prefieras y empiezas a elegir los sabores para preparar el helado a tu gusto. Luego hay una variedad de acompañamientos que puedes añadir al helado como sorbetos, chocolates y frutas. No podemos dejar de pasar por alto la fuente de chocolate que le puedes colocar como cobertura a tu obra maestra 😋, y puedes elegir entre el chocolate tradicional o el chocolate blanco. Además ofertan varias bebidas como refrescos y jugos, y por supuesto, no puede faltar una deliciosa malteada que te la preparan a tu gusto.

Once we finished preparing our ice cream, we weighed it and paid for it and then we sat at the table to enjoy it. It was a delight, there are so many flavors that I'm sure I'll have to come other times to try them all 😁.
Una vez terminamos de preparar nuestro helado, lo pesamos y lo pagamos y luego nos sentamos en la mesa a disfrutarlo. Era una delicia, hay tantos sabores que estoy segura que tendré que venir otras veces para poder probarlos todos 😁.
