Saludos fraternos a todos vosotros, mis apreciados panas de Hive. En esta oportunidad me voy a referir, brevemente, a los recientes acontecimientos acaecidos en mi país natal.
Como todos deben saber, para este día 9 de enero del 2025 fue convocada una manifestación ciudadana, en protesta por la pretención del presidente saliente de juramentarse como presidente electo de las elecciones celebradas en julio del 2024. El grupo opositor, liderado por una tenaz mujer, quien ha puesto todas sus energías, por decir lo menos. Me refiero a María Corina Machado Zuloaga. Como muchos de ustedes recordarán, para elegir el candidato de la coalición “antichavista” se realizaron elecciones primarias no dirigidas ni supervisadas por el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE). En dichos comicios la mayoría de votos fue obtenida por MCM. Sin embargo, no pudo participar en las elecciones de julio por una argucia jurídica elaborada por el TSJ, el cual está al servicio del ejecutivo encabezado por el presidente actual, cuyo mandato concluye (según dicta nuestra Carta Magna) el 10 de enero (mañana) día en el cual debe traspasar su mandato al nuevo presidente, es decir, al candidato con la mayor cantidad de votos en las elecciones señaladas en líneas previas en este escrito.
Resulta que en tales elecciones, el candidato con más votos fue un ex diplomático de nombre Edmundo González Urrutia, quien, según lo establecido en nuestra constitución, debería asumir el cargo de presidente para el próximo período de 6 años (mandato constitucional). Pero bueno, you know, ni el presidente saliente ni sus secuaces de mayor jerarquía quieren acatar ese mandato de nuestra Carta Magna. La soberanía del Pueblo, es decir, de la Nación, ha sido burlada. Y, según entiendo, se busca con esta manifestación de escala nacional, reclamar y hacer respetar nuestra Soberanía agotando todas las acciones posibles. Nos vemos luego.
