Capitol Lagoon's Meowdel 🐾🐱

in Caturday3 months ago (edited)

In one of our stroll, in a gloomy afternoon, there was this tabby cat beside the Cafe in the Capitol's Lagoon that alluring people with its charm. It stood above a chair posing like a great statue with pride.

I have a soft spot with cats even though we can't always get along that well. That's why when we were looking for a comfort room beside the Cafe, its charm can't be possibly ignored.

It was simply irresistible!

As you could notice on the first photos, this poor feisty looking cat has a scab over its back. It's not just alluring but also pitiful that I couldn't restrain myself from not approaching this creature.

Out of pity and adoration, I didn't notice that I meowed at it if it didn't also meowed back. I felt like we're communicating in a way but it's just that I couldn't understand anything it has said.

I thought that it meowed back because it was a domesticated cat since it was surrounded by people everytime. When I was about to pet its head, it purred on me and hissed.

Here I go again, I was about to fight a cat rather than befriending it. I guess it's no use when the cat and the one with cat-like personality meets. Kidding aside, I think it was traumatized since it has a healed scab on its back. Maybe someone treated it violently before or the poor cat encountered an accident resulting to its scars.

It was very feisty when it was looking up but very demure when looking down. Overall, it was very zesty —bubbling with royalty. Its right eye was injured as you can see. The one who did that must have no love in their hearts that they could just easily hurt an innocent animal.

Even with the evident trauma that its injuries are showing, it still entertained us with elegant poses. It doesn't run from us nor feel threatened. It has an unspoken rule with us, though.

"No touching and we're good, hoomans."

We are law abiding citizens of the earth, so of course, we follow it's rules. But before that, we also respect this Meowdel's privacy and time for entertaining us. We gently asked if it could be our Meowdel for that afternoon after taking many photos already. Can't help it if it's cute. 😅🐾

Even if this catto seems like saying, "How dare you approach me, hooman? You're not worthy of my presence," with its every look on us, we're grateful that it somehow graces us with its kindest gestures and behaved when we took photos of its poses.

Cats' presence often screams royalty, either domesticated or not. You can't just simply touch it that easily like dogs. You have to court its attention and prove that your deserving of its love. They're picky and feisty when it comes to strangers but they're the sweetest when it became comfortable with you. Back then, I have a black cat and it would jump on my lap and sleep everytime it would see me sit on a chair.

I kinda miss taking care of cats whenever I saw one. Unfortunately, pets are prohibited here on my dormitory. I can't adopt one even if I would love to. Maybe, next time then!

Anyway, this is my first time posting in this community. I hope I had entertained you with this blog just like how I was entertained with that stray cat at the Lagoon. Thanks for reading!

ako naman ayaw sa mga pusa, unless yung so furry sya na mataba haha..meron kmi sa bahay, nakakainis minsan,.. I rather go with dogs..

Gusto ko din naman dogs, kahit ano sa kanila. Kaso wala ako paglagyan sa kanila.

What a beautiful catto, looks healthy too. Maybe someones's already taking good care to that cutie patootie. ┏(^0^)┛

I also think so. Maybe the guards, cafe owner or the visitors are giving foods to it. Wala kasi kami dala that time, mukha ngang nanghihingi siya kasi sarado yung cafe.
