Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!
Guess what? It's my favorite day of the week! That means it must be Caturday, which happens every Saturday.
The Hoomans have put away the final remnants of the Christmas season and everything is fully back to normal now.
Today we actually had one of the very few sunny days we've had in the past six weeks or so and we cats really enjoyed getting a little sunshine and the limited number of sunny spots that appear around the house during the winter.

The Mom-Hooman had a very busy week this week, so she decided to just take a complete day off today... which meant sitting in a chair and reading part of the time and otherwise sitting in front of the TV and binging some of her favorite shows she wanted to catch up on.
This sort of Hooman behavior is very important to cats because it means that there is a welcoming and available lap in which to take a nap!

Meanwhile, the Dad-Hooman was very busy with his online work and he also spent part of the day working on his artwork, which I was happy to help him supervise.
As everyone probably realizes, creative work is best executed with supervision by a cat!
Of course the most important thing on today's agenda was to get a Caturday post illustrated and published!

All in all, we're getting off to a sort of slow start to 2025. It seems that a number of things we wanted to get off and running with have run into problems and complications of one kind or another and we've just had to slow down.
The Hoomans' new range and cooktop still sits in the living room because there were no (supposedly included) parts to convert it from "natural gas" to "Propane.' An installation man is finally coming on Monday!

We had hoped to finish the big calendar of "Special Days for Cats in 2025" today, but the Dad-Hooman got too busy with other things and so we're going to have to publish it tomorrow or on Monday instead!
I never knew that cats had so many days to celebrate them but it's only right because we cats are fabulous!

And that's about all we have time for, for today's update. After all, we need to get this published while there are at least a few minutes of Caturday still left, here in our part of the world!

Very peaceful surrounding for cats to sleep and relax after the busy festive season. So much work seems to have popped up in the new year!
