Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

It's Saturday once more, and we all know that Saturday means Caturday! Which, of course, is my favorite day of the week!

Today was what the Hoomans are calling the Equinox, which apparently means that the length of the night and day are identical. I am well aware that we are moving towards winter and the days are getting shorter. Anyway, this was also the first day of fall.

It has been raining most of today, so it seems that autumn has arrived perfectly on time!

On the whole, it has been a somewhat busy week, because the Hoomans had dinner guests a couple of times. I'm not normally that fond of "strange" people in the house, but it was okay in this case because both the couples that came over to visit were cat people, and I know them from previous visits!

We were all up-and-at-em early this morning. The Mom-Hooman went to Seattle to visit the Daughter-Hooman and spend a couple of days over there, which meant the Dad-Hooman was taking her to the ferry terminal pretty early this morning!

Thankfully he cam back pretty quickly, and since then I have been taking a nice long nap on the bed!

In other news, there seems to be a lot of talk around the community about this thing called "HiveFest," but I don't think that's something for cats! It's exciting to think though, that they are up to celebrating the 8th version of this event, so our community has existed for quite a while.

I am always hopeful that HiveFest will bring good things ahead for all of us. And at least inspire and inject some enthusiasm into people, encouraging them to keep going forward.

Icky weather...!

Which brings us to the week in the cryptosphere, which didn't really seem to bring much of anything. Everything still be seems to be more or less going sideways, but hopefully with the change of the seasons things will soon start to move upwards.

I'm seeing 30-cent Hive as I write these words, so that's a good start!

It certainly feels like we have been in the so-called "summer doldrums" for a really long time! And I'm a bit tired of it...

Smudge wants her sunshine back!

Other than that, everyone around here is doing pretty well! Smudge is quietly being Smudge, and she goes about her own little world on a daily basis! Occasionally we hang out together but mostly she just sleeps.

The Hoomans have pretty much finished their gardening season for the year, which means they're going to be spending more time inside, most likely with their arts and crafts projects. I love arts and crafts projects!

That also means they're going to be spending more time with us cats, and there will be far more time for me to get into different and exciting and interesting things!

And on that light note, time for me to wrap up before we run out of Caturday! I appreciate your visit, and hope you have a great Sunday!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
