My new friend

I decided to spend this weekend on my plot not far from Belgrade, where we have a cottage. I had planned to spend the weekend in the company of my mother, to help her with some work in the garden, to finish small repairs around the house, and I did not expect to join a young cat.

My mother explained to me that it is the neighbor's cat, which spends the whole day on our side of the fence, because it is running away from two dogs that the neighbor lets walk freely in the yard.
So, this Saturday, the so-called Caturday, was marked for me by a cat.

It is not an adult cat, but rather an older kitten, which likes to be cuddled, to play, is just discovering its surroundings - it sticks its head in the grocery bag, tries to cross the threshold and enters the kitchen, using its claws to remove the dishcloth from the table , digs the ground with its paws in search of a mole (as if it were a dog, a terrier), pushes its paws into the holes made by field mice, until it catches one... That young cat is a born hunter, even its movements are like a real predator. It only needs to grow a little more and there will be fear and trembling for all the pests and nasty reptiles (mice, moles, lizards, snakes...), which are on my plot.

After a long time, I saw a cat that caught a mouse (Tom and Jerry😃, only Jerry paid for that companionship with his head) and a cat that accepted to eat the scraps of meat that we threw out after cooking chicken soup for our lunch.
When she was properly exhausted from hunting the mouse, fed and had a sufficient dose of cuddling, she performed her washing and fell asleep in the shade.
