Hello, all feline fans! I am NomNomNoodle, a cat lover from Thailand. So far I've blogging on Hive mostly about my travel, my work and my food. Today is gonna be something new, about cats!
Little side story: Meow! My personal experience with cats might have not started so great when I was a child, so growing up I preferred dogs. That was until during Covid era and we started to adopt a stray cat to our home. Living with them can be unpredictable, but I did find peace and joy, so since then, I have been in love with cats.
Today, I want to write about the time I met these kitties during my coffee break from the school. My colleague and I went to this small cafe called "Fav Place" in Chiang Mai. As I looked in the photos I took, my focus was more on these 2 handsome cats than the actual drink I ordered, so the CATURDAY community would be a perfect one to share it.
At first, I was caught off guard with this girl, Haru. Her color and the pattern is so unique and pretty. She didn't wanna talk to me much but she let me take pictures of her.
They decorated the place really nice and homey. The tone inside is earth tone with bright green. The open sign is a cat too, so cute! :))
By the entrance, I made acquaintance with Mew Mew, a handsome American Short hair. I think that's his favorite spot because all the time, he barely moved from that spot much.
Then Haru came inside and just chilled by the sofa, like a queeeeeen 👑 The owner said she was a stray cat, she picked up from a street. But I guess (from her poses) now she owns the place.
As they made my hot chocolate, I was just enjoying the vibe there.
I wanna take some good shots of Haru with my drink. I've waited for a while until she looked at my camera, but you know how cats are, they just not gonna give it to you so easily. Still, I like the shot I took.
I wanna take pictures with Haru too, so I asked my friend to take picture for us. I love that we kinda give out the vibe of a witch and her cat, which I liveeeeeeeeeeeed for.
Time for the check! Mew Mew walked over to the cashier and helped with the bill. 😁
Mmm but from the look of his face, I'm not sure he was happy about it.
Seeing how grumpy he was, the owner tried to lift him up, but he didn't co-operate much. Guess he wasn't in his best mood. lol
Right before I left, Mew Mew went back to his comfort spot and looked like Haru was interested.
Haru decided to join him there. I think she tried to be with him without taking much of his space nor annoying him. Even so, I wasn't sure she accomplished it.
Now, it's unfortunately time to leave the Fav Place and the cats 😔 Bye bye Haru and Mew Mew.
