Unexpected Cutie!

Yesterday, I woke up with my mother calling me urgently. I looked at the time and saw it was already 5:00 A.M. so I sat up for a while then later on I went out of my bed to see what the fuss was. I was shocked and puzzled by what I saw because it was a tiny kitten!

I know Chicha was not pregnant because she had just given birth to the two—Muning and Maning—so I was really puzzled where that tiny kitten came from. Also, I'm quite worried because it's so tiny, I guess it's just days old, and Muning and Maning are eyeing the kitten curiously. But since I have a class and an event for that day, I left the kitten.

When I came back, thankfully, the kitten was still intact. However, of 'course, according to my mother, the other kittens tried to somehow kick and drag him away from their mother (we're not certain if it's a he, but still it looks like a he—so for now, he it is). So we just observed him until they ate and slept.

Until this day, it was still a mystery for us where the kitten came from. I don't know, but unlike yesterday, Chicha became distant to him. It seems that she realized that the kitten she brought isn't hers, but when we bring the kitten next to her, she still lets the kitten have her milk. The two were closely watching, and like the previous day, Muning attempted to drag him away but I stopped him midway and she looked betrayed after that lol.

Maning on the other hand looks unbothered, tho he's also observing the new kitten once in a while. His obsession with playing our broom seems to distract him most of the time, and also he's the first one to eat so I guess he's not affected when there's another kitten that would benefit from Chicha's milk.

As I've said the kitten's so tiny, and also his eyes and ears are still not opened yet. Also, he tried walking—tho to me, it's more like swimming because he still can't stand fully so he moves like he's swimming. He definitely looks feeble and defenseless, so I'm worried about how the other cats will react to his presence. Btw, since it's just his second day with us we still haven't named him yet, but hopefully soon he'll have one, and I really wonder what name would suit him...
