Good evening, my feline colleagues. It's been a while since I came to update you about my adventures in these inhospitable lands. My name is Ikki and I am a cat who earned the respect of the rest of the cats in the lands where I came to live with my human father. With the passage of time, we have become closer than ever and although my human father leaves our territory to work very late, I wait patiently for him when he returns. And you will wonder what about your human mother? Well, well, she has the nerve to live somewhere else and she comes to visit me not that often. But hey, I don't blame her. She also has to work and it is not so easy to access these lands. Today I will tell you about her unexpected visit, which surprised me and, like all good cats, I did the most appropriate thing for this situation: Ignored her.
It's not that I don't like him coming to see me, but I have to show him that I'm okay. Humans are too sensitive and my human mother worries too much. Every time he comes, I show him that I am a completely independent cat and that I can do my own thing. Also... he doesn't stop that bad habit of wanting to photograph me at all times. I heard that his phone's memory is full and he's still after me. I don't think I've changed much in a couple of weeks, but if it makes you happy, I suppose I can let you photograph me, but of course, just a little.
Of course, my human father and I have developed a pretty strong connection now that we're living together. My human mother gets jealous, but she can't compare it, my human father is more comfortable for me, that's why I prefer to climb on top of him to sleep. Sure, he complains that I'm suffocating him sometimes, but hey... humans will always complain, right? Therefore, the best thing we can do, my feline friends, is to ignore them. Then it passes, I assure you.
Still, I can't deny myself in the face of the facts: I'm happy that my human mother comes to visit me and that we can all sleep together on these cold nights. I hope that soon we can be like that again for a long time and not occasionally. So, for the duration of their visit, I'll try to sleep close enough to them and if they don't make room for me in bed, I won't let them sleep. As it should be, because we cats can't ignore us 😏

Muy buenas noches, mis colegas felinos. Desde hace ya un tiempo que no venía a ponerlos al tanto acerca de mis aventuras en éstas tierras inhóspitas. Mi nombre es Ikki y soy un gato que se ganó el respeto del resto de los gatos de las tierras a las cuales me vine a vivir con mi padre humano. Con el pasar del tiempo, nos hemos vuelto más unidos que nunca y aunque mi padre humano sale de nuestro territorio a trabajar hasta muy tarde, yo lo espero pacientemente en su regreso. Y ustedes se preguntarán ¿Y tú madre humana? Pues, bien, ella tiene el descaro de vivir en otro lado y me viene a visitar no tan a menudo. Pero bueno, no la culpo. Ella también tiene que trabajar y no es tan fácil acceder a estas tierras. Hoy les hablaré de su inesperada visita, que me sorprendió y como todo buen felino hice lo más acorde a ésta situación: Ignorarla.
No es que no me sienta a gusto de que venga a verme, pero tengo que demostrarle que estoy bien. Los humanos son demasiado sensibles y mi madre humana se preocupa demasiado. Cada vez que viene, le demuestro que soy un gato completamente independiente y que puedo hacer mis cosas por mi cuenta. Además... no deja esa mala costumbre de querer fotografiarme a cada momento. Escuché que la memoria de su teléfono está llena y aún así, va detrás de mí. No creo haber cambiado mucho en un par de semanas, pero si eso la hace feliz, supongo que puedo permitirle que me fotografíe, aunque claro, sólo un poco.
Por supuesto, mi padre humano y yo hemos desarrollado una conexión bastante fuerte ahora que estamos viviendo juntos. Mi madre humana se pone celosa, pero es que ella no puede compararlo, mi padre humano es más cómodo para mí, por eso prefiero subirme encima de él para dormir. Claro, él se queja de que lo estoy asfixiando a veces, pero bueno... los humanos siempre se quejaran ¿No? Por eso, lo mejor que podemos hacer, mis amigos felinos, es ignorarlos. Luego se les pasa, se los aseguro.
Aún así, no puedo negarme ante los hechos: Soy feliz de que mi madre humana venga a visitarme y que podamos dormir todos juntos en estas noches frías. Espero que pronto podamos estar de nuevo de ese modo durante mucho tiempo y no ocasionalmente. De modo que, mientras lo que dure su visita, procuraré dormir bastante apegado a ellos y si no me hacen espacio en la cama, no los dejaré dormir. Como debe ser, porque a nosotros los gatos, ellos no nos pueden ignorar 😏
