Hello all cat lovers! A couple of months ago I had the opportunity to live with Ying again, my sister's cat and therefore, my cat nephew. Since I work from home, I can closely observe the attitudes of this cute kitten, as well as the spaces that he has determined to rest or spend most of his time in the small apartment in which we live.
The first place you occupy to rest is the bed. Ying likes to sleep curled up next to my sister and sometimes he takes a nap or two in that same bed or in my brothers' bed. Ying certainly knows the comfort of mattresses. Sometimes I work in the room, but when I'm not using it, I try to turn off the lights for Ying so that she can sleep more comfortably. I usually use a sleep mask. How functional could one of these be for felines? I'd probably take it off immediately, but the scene looks too adorable in my head. Maybe draw on it later.
After a few hours of restful sleep, it's natural for Ying to wake up energized, and usually the first thing she's looking for is something to play with. He has many toys that have accumulated over time and his favorites are balls or anything that he rolls around. Although it is quite common for the balls to disappear, stuck in some corner from which Ying, he could not get them out. If there are no toys available, there is no problem. Ying doesn't get bored that easily. Even the mattresses and sheets themselves serve for his entertainment. He likes to "climb" on these surfaces, lying down from the ground and when discovered by the human eye, he appears surprised and runs away. I think it's one of his favorite games, even though he looks pretty erratic when he does it.
But without a doubt, one of Ying's favorite places to hang out is in front of the bedroom window. Like a clever cat, he uses the suitcase that is attached to the wall as a podium and from there, he can spend time observing people. There is a school nearby, so during the day, the square is always full of children and young people. So much movement catches Ying's attention and religiously, every morning she watches the children come and go to class.
But after such an exhausting task, as expected, Ying needs to regain energy once again. So she takes advantage of the space to take a nap, being able to be alert at the same time, while she hears the commotion from outside again.
The living room is the space that Ying rarely uses to sleep. However, when I stay very late to work, curiosity sometimes leads him to sit very close to me and sometimes he falls asleep while fully awake. Without a doubt, it is not easy being a spoiled kitten 😙

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los gatos! Desde hace un par de meses atrás he tenido la oportunidad de volver a convivir con Ying, el gato de mi hermana y por tanto, mi sobrino gatuno. Dado que trabajo desde casa, puedo observar muy de cerca las actitudes de éste lindo minino, así como los espacios que ha determinado para descansar o pasar la mayor parte del tiempo, en el pequeño apartamento en el que habitamos.
El primer lugar que ocupa para descansar, es la cama. A ying le gusta dormir acurrucado junto a mi hermana y en ocasiones, toma una que otra siesta en esa misma cama o en la de mis hermanos. Sin duda, Ying conoce la comodidad de los colchones. En ocasiones, trabajo en la habitación, pero cuando no la ocupo, procuro apagarle las luces a Ying para que pueda dormir más cómodo. Yo suelo usar un antifaz para dormir ¿Qué tan funcional podría ser uno de estos para los felinos? Seguramente, se lo quitaría de inmediato, pero la escena luce demasiado adorable en mi cabeza. A lo mejor, luego dibuje sobre ello.
Luego de unas horas de sueño reparador, es natural que Ying se despierte con energía y por lo general, lo primero que busca es con qué jugar. Él tiene muchos juguetes que se le han ido acumulado con el tiempo y sus favoritos, son las pelotas o todo lo que ruede. Aunque es bastante habitual que las pelotas desaparezcan, metidas en algún rincón del cual Ying, no pudo sacarlas. Si no hay ningún juguete a disposición, no hay ningún problema. Ying no se aburre tan fácilmente. Hasta los propios colchones y las sabanas, sirven para su entretenimiento. A él le gusta "escalar", en estas superficies, estando acostado desde el suelo y al ser descubierto por el ojo humano, se muestra sorprendido y sale corriendo. Pienso que es uno de sus juegos favoritos, aunque luzca bastante errático cuando lo haga.
Pero sin duda, uno de los lugares predilectos de Ying para pasar el rato, es frente a la ventana de la habitación. Como todo un gato astuto, utiliza la maleta que se encuentre pegada a la pared, a modo de podio y desde allí, puede pasar rato observando a la gente. Cerca hay una escuela, así que en el día, la plaza siempre está llena de niños y jóvenes. Tanto movimiento, llama la atención de Ying y religiosamente, todas las mañanas se queda observando a los niños que entran y salen a clases.
Pero luego de tan agotadora tarea, como era de esperarse, Ying necesite recuperar energías una vez más. De modo que aprovecha el espacio para echarse una siesta, pudiendo estar al mismo tiempo alerta, mientras vuelve a oírse algarabía desde el exterior.
La sala, es el espacio que muy poco suele usar Ying para dormir. Sin embargo, cuando me quedo a trabajar hasta muy tarde, la curiosidad a veces lo lleva a sentarse muy cerca de mí y en ocasiones, se queda dormido en plena vigilancia. Sin duda, no es fácil ser un gatito consentido 😙

The truth is that yes 😄 when he was little, Ying loved to sleep on the shovel that was used to collect dust after sweeping. It was a problem because he couldn't leave the shovel unattended for a moment, because he didn't care if it was full of dust, that was his place to take a nap. When he grew up, he learned that he couldn't sleep there anymore, but it was funny to see him try to do it until he realized that he was already too big 😆 Thank you very much for visiting my post and for commenting 😉💚
Hola. Que lindo gato y los ojos son preciosos, tiene una mirada tan tierna . Me dio mucha risa al verlo como duerme todo acurrucado. Definitivamente los animalitos solo les falta es hablar,ellos sienten todo por eso digo que solo le falta es hablar para ser un ser humano. Y son muy buenos compañeros.

Hola 😄 Ying es un gatito demasiado adorable, todo el que lo mira queda rendido ante esa carita y lo mejor, es que su actitud es igual de tierna. Yo me la paso cargándolo y él se deja, es toda una bolita de amor 😙 jajaj ¡Y eso que no lo has visto arropado! Ying está tan consentido que tiene su propia cobija y hasta pequeña almohada, cuando está tan rendido, le colocas esas cosas y se queda quietecito. Luego subo fotografías de eso para que te derritas de amor 💕 Es cierto, los gatos son compañeros muy fieles, a Ying le encanta dormir con mi hermana y la espera siempre. How wonderful it is to see Ying enjoying her rest areas. Cats have an incredible ability to find the most comfortable and quiet places. Jeje Así es, los gatos no se detienen cuando se trata de dormir. Yo no soy tan delicada sobre el lugar pero si me cuesta quedarme dormida tan rápido como los gatos.
