If you can't beat them, join them!
Well i definitely can't beat them. In fact most of them would probably beat me with one hand tied behind their back. So I'll join them virtually instead on television and pretend I'm there in the gallery oooing and ahhing as the world's best battle it out for the elsuive green jacket.
There's at least two of you wondering what in the name of God I'm rabitting on about. I'm an avid golfer and the scenes you see in the background of my photos are the world's most famous golf course, Augusta National in Georgia in the US of A. Every year the worlds best golfers battle it out to claim the Masters title. It is one of 4 majors that they all want to win. The winner gets a green jacket like this, which also earns them an invite to playbin this prestigious tournament every year for the rest of their days.
Eyes off Justin
He might well treat himself to a few of these on Sunday night if it is him being fitted for a green jacket in the butlers cabin. His 5 under par chances leaves him in perfect shape to mount a challenge. Not even Amen corner could knock him off kilter.
Now, back to the golf. You're here to listen to me talk about beer, not golf...
Brewdog's Dead Pony Club IPA
What they say
This Californian Pale Ale packs a huge hoppy punch. A 21st century low amplitude, high voltage hop hit. Some people say slow is good. We believe fast is better. Being shot from a Hoppy Howitzer beats the hell out of trotting round a submissive paddock. That’s why the internal combustion engine got mounted onto two wheels. Screw down the throttle and listen for that dull banshee howl floating back from those malted mufflers. Drink fast, live fast, sleep late and rip it up down empty streets. This pale ale is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. Fuel up and hold tight, this little thoroughbred kicks like a mule. Perfect for drinking by the bottle, case or even keg.
Can Art
So this week, i went all artistic and thought why not crush the can, and get the snaps with the can disfigured. They came out really well and 647 galleries have been in touch to commission my art. They are definitely not a result of me forgetting to take pics when I was drinking them and having to fish them back out of the bin, no, definitely not 😋
So this one I find a bit boring to be honest. It is very generic, very safe and lacks the creativity that we associate with the craft beer scene. I guess in a sense it fits Brewdog well. Although their beers are generally very good, are they really still a craft brewer, when you look at their scale of production?

Thoughts
This one was fine. No fireworks. Sessionable, yes. Something to write home about, no.
I poured it into my trusty beer glass. It formed a decent head, with nice lacing.
The nose gave off scents of tropical fruits, as well as citrus. Light in body, with gentle carbonation, as i say very easy to drink and would suit an IPA first timer. Just didn't really do it for me, not at enough bang for your buck.

Cheers! Nice review. From Brewdog I only tried Elvis Juice and it was excellent. 🍻 😎
Ah yes Elvis Juice is a belter of a beer! Don't like grapefruit, but infuse into beer like Elvis Juice, and I'd drink it out of an auld sock!
Hazy Jane another good one from the Brewdog stable 🍻
