Yesterday was one of those relaxing afternoons that reminded me of the joy in small, simple moments. While preparing lunch, I began to feel thirsty, so I decided to crack open a can of beer for myself. As I set the table, my husband came in, also holding a can of beer. We started eating together, enjoying the peace of the day. Meanwhile, my in-laws took our kids to their cousin's house to play, giving my husband and me a quiet opportunity to enjoy our meal without distractions. As we continued eating, my husband asked if I wanted to go to our favorite restaurant, Uncle Don Restaurant, for some tea and more beer. Without hesitation, as a beer lover and drinker, I agreed. It’s one of those traditions my husband and I cherish—spending time together with a few glasses of beer while having a good chat. It allows us to relax, unwind, and connect as a couple, strengthening our bond. I believe that good drinks often make for good conversations, and they can be the perfect way to spend time together after a busy day.
Uncle Don Restaurant is a family-friendly spot, famous for its standard yet comforting food and drinks. The warm environment always makes us feel at home. The restaurant was originally co-owned by two friends, an Indian man named Don and a Chinese man named Uncle. That’s how the restaurant got its name, "Uncle Don." However, the two owners eventually parted ways, and Uncle continued the business with his Filipino wife. I first got to know them through my online shop, where I sell meat and food products. Over time, I became familiar with Uncle and his wife, who is now the head chef at the restaurant.
Just before the end of 2024, I read in the news that Don, the ex-owner of Uncle Don Restaurant, opened his own new place called "The Real Don." He had been the chef and menu creator at Uncle Don, and I was curious to check out his new restaurant. It would be interesting to compare the two places, especially since Don’s culinary skills were always well-liked. I look forward to visiting "The Real Don" to see how it measures up to Uncle Don Restaurant, both in terms of food and ambiance.
Overall, it was a day of good food, good drinks, and good memories. These are the moments that I truly cherish.

Yes, it's true, my fridge always has stocks at least 3-5 cans incase feel dry the trough, sometimes water not enough to make satisfy the thirstiness.
