Hi fellow Beer lovers,
Today I decided to crack open the last beer in the fridge to celebrate the kitchen I didn’t do work in.
Beer Saturday
I decided to toast to the new kitchen countertops we got installed yesterday. We’ve been trying to do what we can to fix up our place so we can sell it and the counters was a huge one. They were falling apart and looked like crap. We spent a few thousand dollars which was tough to swallow but you do what you have to do sometimes. It will improve resale value, we hope.
It’s kind of hard to see here but they are nice quartz counters! Solid white since that seems to be a desired thing right now but importantly they add some brightness to the kitchen. For the beer to celebrate I finished the one I had bought last week, enjoyed the three in the four pack over the fourth weekend but held one for reserve. It didn’t last much as a reserve lol. Down she goes!
I don’t think I would buy this pack again, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t my favorite. The flavors were good but the company didn’t really put any effort into a can. It seems lame but I do enjoy a fun story on the side of a can. The little things that draw you in!
What were the beers you enjoyed this Saturday?

Operative words being, last beer in the fridge. Seems like a condition that requires rectification.
i agree 100%
Naturally.
Hahah yeah I know that's an issue! We don't buy alcohol often so I splurged a bit on my days off. I'll wait a few weeks before buying more. I have a few bottles of other stuff if I feel the need for a drink, some rum and such. We have some limoncello as well from Italy but I don't know if that's still good lol. Hopefully it is since it's unowned
I have a good story about limoncello and me, from Florence, I'm not sure it's for the blockchain though. :)
Congrats on the home improvement! I dread it too, and Liza wants to redo our kitchen this summer yet...I keep thinking maybe it's time to go back to renting. Life was so much easier back then...
Thanks man, we are just shaping up before we sell it lol. We've outlived our time here it's too small with the little man, particularly because there's no yard so that sucks. Renting is okay but it's better to own your stuff and get equity and all that.
Definitely good to have the equity - I just dread the random things that require cash - like roofs, sewage back ups, bathroom remodels, backyards...I mean I love it?
Hahah yeah I know. It is challenging sometimes when we don’t work in a trade where we can just work extra jobs to get money to pay for the stuff lol
Cheers!
