Beery times in December - Day 6
This year my family created the a DIY Xmas beer calendar from me.
I'm so happy about this that I had to post every day a beer. Even better, I have to taste it before...
This means, each day of the cold and dark @detlev get some light and warm feelings by searching for another beer from that big green Box.

Delirium tremens is a rapid onset of confusion usually caused by withdrawal from alcohol. When it occurs, it is often three days into the withdrawal symptoms and lasts for two to three days. Physical effects may include shaking, shivering, irregular heart rate, and sweating. People may also see or hear things other people do not. Occasionally, a very high body temperature or seizures may result in death. Alcohol is one of the most dangerous drugs from which to withdraw.

The Taste
What does the Expert say:
Clear gold in color, a big solid white creamy head that last long to dissipate. Strong presence of yeast in nose, with some dried fruits mostly dried apricots. In mouth is balanced right in the middle between light and full bodied. Can feel the presence of alcohol but very well embedded. Sweet in flavor, dry fruit, grains, some bread with a subtle bitter aftertaste.
It is a great beer. Very well balanced, everything fits in the right place. I was expecting for this to score a perfect 5 all across the board but it didn’t. But great beer overall.

Colour and sight: pale blond, the fine and regular effervesce ensures a fine and stable head.
Scent: Slightly malty, a nice touch of alcohol, spicy.
Flavour: Feels like the sound shot of alcohol is igniting the mouth. In reality the tongue and palate are warmed. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and dry bitter.

The first time I had this beer, was 120 underneath the earth with a few very cool steemians. Means during SteemFest 3 together with @jeffjagoe and @toocurious in the Salt Mines of Wieliczja
How does this new DIY calendar work?
It is so simple and cool as well.
My family know what I love and the found a big old box wich they painted in green color. Then they filled with some smooth stuff.
I think they „borrowed“ it from the rabbits from our friends house. As you see, even the cats helped with some work. They did the nice “patina“ to the green color.
