A few days ago at night I decided to buy a couple of beers at a place in the city that carries different types of brands or producers from the region.
The great thing about living in a province and country where we love making craft beer is that there are many different varieties and flavors to try.

The only bad thing is that this great variety of flavors causes one to become exquisite with the types of beer.
For this article I am going to talk about two brands of beer, one is red and the other is blonde. Since the night was ideal to enjoy a beer, I went to the house of a friend who lives near the place where I bought the beers and we placed them in the freezer to drink them very cold.

I mention that here in Argentina we drink cold beer and especially in the center of the country because the temperatures are usually high and there is also a lot of humidity, much more so in my city because I live between two rivers. I am also going to clarify that these last few days it has been raining a lot and in the afternoon the sun appears so the humidity increases to 100% which means that if you go to have a cold beer outside it heats up in a matter of minutes.

First we started with the IPA style blonde beer that the same producer described as having notes of grapefruit and lemon along with some other aromas but to be honest the beer lacked much flavor. Personally, I consider that this beer is the typical variety that they sell you in some establishment to consume and that yes or yes it should be drunk very cold. The flavor and aroma did not comply with anything the label said, so it was like drinking a regular beer.

The other beer, the red one with the donkey logo on its label, is from a producer in the province of Salta and their beers are well known for being too strong. This producer loves that his beers contain a higher than normal alcohol content, which in this case was 8% and some of his varieties even reach up to 11%. What one captures in the first moment of this beer is the strong aroma of the alcohol and then a slight caramel flavor is perceived on the palate. Personally, I recommend taking a bottle of the same size as the one in the photo because I think a liter of this beer is too strong to knock anyone down.
After the little that was left we decided to go to the sidewalk of my friend's house to drink the last thing that was left in a glass while we enjoyed the fresh wind of the avenue and greeted the people passing by.
