A place that pours great beer

I returned again to the Malata Pub in Szeged, Hungary.

A pub where I drank a few interesting beers this spring.

Now, the weekend before Christmas in Malata was not crowded.

That didn't bother me to look around the offer of beers they have.
My idea was to try some of the beers that I haven't tried before.

I opened my previous post but was surprised to see that they now have other beers on offer...
And what should I do now?
I thought of continuing the series with Human experiment, Chaiwala and Xiuhtecuhtli, but they were no longer available.

I had to quickly decide which beers from the new offer I wanted to taste and present them here.

I decided on the Rebel berry Fruit Sour Ale, with 4.5% alcohol for my friend who is not a big fan of beer, but agreed to try it anyway (for me, so that I'm not the only beer drinker).

My partner didn't want to try either, she decided on Coca Cola).
I chose this Sour Ale, a product of Horizont Brewery for her, which will remind her the least of the smell and taste of beer. This red looks more like some kind of juice.

I chose Hazy queen, a New England IPA with 6.2% alcohol, from the same Horizont brewery.

After the toast, I took a sip of beer. Nice smell, nice taste, slightly weaker foam.
Tasty and refreshing...

What do you think, after I drank my Hazy Queen beer, did I also drink this Fruit Sour, which my friend found too sour?
Of course I did 😃

Next I ordered Bright Lies BYM IPA - New England / Hazy beer, 6.5% alcohol.

Brew Your Mind is a micro brewery that brews this beer. The same brewery that brewed Blue Echo. that I drank last time...

Extremely high and thick foam, beautiful color, smell like a space refresher with tropical citrus notes, and at the first sip, you can feel the pleasant freshness and taste of fruit on the tongue. No bitterness, not too carbonated, simple - Perfect..

Considering the two beers of the Brew Your Mind brewery, which I really liked, I will have to look for them somewhere near me or I will become a more frequent visitor to Hungarian Pubs 😃
For the reason that this was already my third beer at the tasting, because, after all, I also drank the one that my friend refused to drink 🙂

I did not continue with the further selection, I left it for the next time, but now I am almost 100% sure that the next time, some other beer names will be written on these boards.

The flying pig now had a New Year's cap, and the next time, when we repeat the tour of this Pub (probably after winter, when we will sit in the beautiful garden) we will be greeted again like last time, without a cap.

Although the repeated location of these beers that I tasted, they deserve to be mentioned in #BeerSaturday and suggested for the contest, but also recommended for drinking, especially Bright Lies.
