Going to my ORIJIN for the Beer Saturday
Did you see a typo? No you didn't.
For those who may be wondering, "Orijin" is the name of a beer.
What's a Saturday without some beer?
Come on we are talking of the weekend here, the first weekend in 2025 so it calls for celebrations, relaxation and some drinks.
I am no exception and as such I went out to enjoy the season too.
I have in fact forgotten on several occasions to take pictures while in my chilling spot and as such I have never been able to make an entry into this drunken community up until now despite my awareness and willingness to do so.
Luckily, I remembered it today and I was out with my cousin who is not so bad with the camera so I decided to utilise the rare opportunity and get pictures. What are cousins for? Lol.
While hanging out, I decided to have the orijin beer. This is one of the popular beers in my locality and country at large with a nationwide distribution from Guinness Nigeria Plc but surprisingly, I have not tried it before today.
I have not tasted it before but it has been on my mind. So I decided to try it today in the spirit of new year and trying new things.
Having taken Orijin, what I can say is that Orijin is not your regular beer, it is much more than that. This is because it additionally contains some African herbs and fruit extract.
This gives it a bittersweet taste which I have not gotten from other beers.
When you take it chilled like I did, you will realise the difference.
I do not know if I will make this beer my favourite but I do know that I will be taking it more often now.
I only needed a taste to get hooked.
When I poured into my glass cup, it smiled at me, I don't know if others have got that feeling before. It's a sign, a call by the beer to a beer lover and you don't resist that call.
At the end of the day, my cousin paid for my Orijin so I did not find out the price. I just hope it is not too expensive so I will be able to buy it whenever I want as the year progresses.
This is #BeerSaturday week and I would like to invite @chuksmeezy to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.
Perhaps, you earn some money for more beer 😉

I have a similar problem, with forgetting to take photos and then I think 'That would have made a good post' but I have no proof of the beers I've just drunk.
Exactly! I am happy I am not alone 😅
