I really enjoyed reading this post and just had to Google what "Albacete, caga y vete" meant LOL. It was very funny. I went to Benidorm when I was in my early 19s or 20s, my memory is a bit unclear as to when exactly.
The popular drink there was San Miguel, and we found a supermarket selling bottles for pennies. If you can't get a draft, I personally think a bottle beats a can any day of the week (or even the weekend) :). When I was in my 20s, I also visited Majorca and loved it there. I went to Cuevas del Drach in Porto Cristo, Majorca.
It has been years since I had a Pilsner, the last time being when I was in England where I lived until I was 29. Holsten Pils was the drink of the day, but I enjoyed some great pints at various drinking establishments with different tastes and flavors. However, I never did like Pale Ale and I'm not a fan of Bitter either, referring to the drink Bitter that is!
The Flamenca looks like a good pint. I think it's awesome how the craft of beer making has taken flight with many microbreweries offering a multitude of unique and often tasty refreshing adult beverages.
I loved the pump handle faucet in the bathroom; it's a really cool and truly unique idea. I bet that sink is the only one like it anywhere. It takes me back.
These days, I am almost teetotal, although I did have a bottle of Heineken on Christmas Eve.Thanks for the great read.
Oh, this comment could stand alone as a post! Thanks!
San Miguel is a supermarket/industrial beer - those are rather produced than brewed. I can't say much about Holsten Pils, though, sampling it only once years ago.
Whenewer feel like having a pint or two, opt for craft beer! With the same amout of alcohol, you get a whole palette of flavours to enjoy. Besides, even craft breweries offer 0.0% non-alcoholic brews time to time.
I did make homebrew for a while years and years ago. Memories! Thanks again for the post.

Well, if you still have some photos from the time, homebrowing post might be appreciated in the Beer community ;)
