Another #beersaturday! I have to say that #beersaturday is one of my favorite times of the week. A time to explore and try new beers and I must give a shout out to @detlev for having conceived of #beersaturday and for having the stamina for keeping our special time together going for so long! He truly is a King of Beerlovers!
In fact, I want to show you tonight what he has done for the decor of my man cave.
This is what the fireplace looked like before #beersaturday.
And this is what it looked like right before Mrs. @handofzara violated the inner sanctum of my man cave. I thought I had locked her out but apparently you have to actually turn the key to tighten a dead bolt lock.
In situations like these, it is best to simply listen and nod your head when the shouting begins.
All I heard was "no wonder we don't go anywhere nice" and "if you spent less time in the man cave and more time on . . . " (I must admit I have a great talent for not listening while appearing to listen). In fact, I believe that this talent has saved my marriage on multiple occasions.
When she had finished shouting, she took one more look at my fine beer can collection and said, "You should take a picture and post it on your beer thingy."
And post it I shall!
Its a good thing that she came around, because I was about to confess to being a member of a CULT and blame @detlev for being the leader!
As she left the inner sanctum, I heard, "Put that away!" Now that is something I listened to and I put the collection away. No need to press my luck!
Especially when this is #beersaturday and it is time to drink a new BEER and add a new can to the collection.

BEER NAME: Ardmore
STYLE: Amber Ale
ABV: 5%
BREWER: Fiddlin' Fish Brewing, Winston-Salem North Carolina
APPEARANCE: reddish amber
(sidebar: I always though amber was gold but it ranges to reddish)
AROMA: sweet caramelized malt
TASTE: sweet malty with a hint of fruit
MOUTHFEEL: light body, carbonates well with a clean finish and the fruit lingers
The can features a road map of the Ardmore district of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, so if you are ever lost just buy a can of Ardmore Amber Ale. Works for me.
TRIVIA TIME!
I have a #beersaturday tradition of asking a trivia question. The first person to answer correctly in the comments earns a BEER token. Last week I told that the question was too easy, so I will up the ante tonight. You learned tonight that Ardmore is the name of neighborhood in Winston-Salem, but Ardmore is also the name of a small College, so . . .
A clue is clearly in the question!
