Hello fellow beer lovers, my vacation is unfortunately over. Today I'm returning home. I had planned to write a different post about beer, but after a conversation with some "crazy people" I met at a Chinese restaurant in a shopping mall in João Pessoa, I decided to share a bit of the conversation I had with them. I believe it's the craziest thing I've ever heard about beer in my life.

I was eating Japanese food with my wife and son. At the time, I took the opportunity to enjoy a STELLA ARTOIS beer. Some people asked to sit at the same table as us. The restaurant was packed and we were only taking up 3 of the 8 seats at the table. I accepted without any problem.

One thing I found strange was that they served the beer in a plastic cup and with ice cubes inside, beer was made for glass cups. Anyway, apart from that detail, I discovered that the people who sat at the table drank beer before they were old enough to do so. It's not a good thing, but they did something surprising because they didn't have money to buy beer.

Before going to a party, they filled beer bottles with FRESH juice. Since they didn't have money to buy beer, they did this to look cool and get people's attention. Although it's a crazy idea, it's a portrait of their past. The financial difficulties were evident. Today, they drink and treat these moments as if they were in the distant past, overcoming them with the passing of time.

I was very curious to ask questions about the past, but I ended up avoiding asking too questions. People's journeys through beer tell incredible stories.

This is #BeerSaturday week and I would like to invite @lobaobh to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.

All the content, pics and editions are my authorship.

As dificuldades financeiras eram evidentes.

Oh, come on! There are many great local beers in Brazil, no need to torture yourself with imported industrial brews!

Like Colorado, I saw it in most supermarkets: https://www.cervejariacolorado.com.br/

Btw have you been tackled by HW, or why did you reject payout?

My friend, I live in an area of Brazil where I have access to few national beers. I have never tried this Colorado beer, not is sold in the region where I live. When I find a beer that is different from the traditional ones, it is a great joy.

During my 30 days of vacation, I managed to try 2 Brazilian craft beers that are different from the ones I have already tried, but I am saving the photos for a future post when I finish the punishment stipulated by HW.

I was punished by HW, I was reported by 3 different people for posting 3 photos that were not mine and not identifying the reference. It was my carelessness, unfortunately I am paying for this mistake by rejecting the payment on 30 posts. I was on vacation, I spent the whole month traveling, I could barely post, I will try to finish this month and get back to normal.

I Be more careful when posting, the rush ends up clouding our judgment. I will own up to my mistake and be more careful in the future.

Wow, 30 posts is quite harsh.
