I'm always super happy when something new in the area opens in terms of getting a beer somewhere. Even better this is when it turns out when the background of the place is that the brewery is a social working environment for people, as they call it themselves, for who 'life is not only an adventure, but also a challenge'
Welcome to the Rabauw brewery on Strijp-S in Eindhoven, the place when you can grab a beer and also make people have a working purpose social wise.
A next new brewery in the city of Eindhoven, don't they have enough already? Well in terms of more options to hang out and have an extra brand of beers in new flavours, I don't think there is ever a too much kind of situation. I think it is very easy for all of these brands to live and survive next to each other, without stealing each others market. The market is big enough, and it feels like only the big brands are loosing customers and the little ones are still good and growing. Nothing wrong with that!
So only after grabbing a couple of beers and getting some food on the side noticing nothing different compared to a 'normal' brewpub, except from that according to my friends when ordering some food that 'turns out different every time and you can always expect a surprise', that is when I learned that some of the staff that working here is working in a social environment.
But literally up until that moment I had no idea, which means everyone is blending in with each other perfectly it seems. A cool concept that should be integrated in way more places actually.
So on to the beers, because there were some really nice ones on draft. That is also the concept of Rabauw. Their own draft beers are very affordable (well....in terms of the market I would say, craft beer is never cheap at the moment it feels...hooray for inflation), but they also serve the bigger brands. Those are just a little more expensive so it is your choice.
When ordering online with a QR code (I do like that because you never have to wait for ordering, but also I miss a bit of discussing with the waitor in terms of what is a good choice. I still think they would be open for giving suggestions honestly, but I didn't try this out) you have the option to choose for a beer of 0.15, 0.30 and 0.40 liter and that is super winning if you ask me! Want to try out something? Order a small one. Are you fond of something, order a bigger one!
With having a nice outdoor terrace with a couple of tables I'm sure this place with go into full force upcoming spring, especially since the Strijp-S area (old industrial area turned into mostly living space) doens't have that many outdoor options for summer time.
Surely I will be back here, it could also already be because of the switching amount of beers on draft which they have. Approved!
That looks like a good place for some !BEER
Awesome spot actually! Happy more like these have opened!

Thx!!
I know right? So hoppy in taste as well!
I'm not such a fan of beers which are very hoppy. I compared for example the Duvel Triple Hop with the original Duvel (the Blog result is yet to come since I still need to finish that article) and even though I was not disliking it, in my opinion the original was still better... !PIZZA
Over a dozen taps, signs with chalk because they have to change them often, a terrace and affordable craft beer?!!? Man I am coming to you neighbourhood!
Awesome review and reminds me I have to visit a few new taprooms soon.
Haha this is nice. Thats the first time now that I realize these places always have chalk boards indeed.. cant unsee now anymore haha
A very interesting phrase to represent a place where you go to drink craft beer, I stick to it:
New breweries are always welcome, I don't think there will ever be too many either. And when they also have some peculiarity like this one, so much the better. No doubt you will enjoy it in the spring, cheers!
Totally looking forward to spending early sunny days here indeed. Its time for spring!
Rrrrrrrrauw!
Rabaaaaaaaaauuw (uil-geluid!)
