YEAAAH BAAABY.. It's #beersaturday once again, and you know what that means. An excuse to slam a few beverages, and kick back after running the daily errands.

Worked up an extreme thirst this afternoon, after finishing the day off with a cheeky 5km run in Brisbane's intense summer humidity. Pictures worth a thousand words. Time to kick back and make myself comfortable for the evening.

Hawaiian Haze IPA

Went to the bottleshop this afternoon, and it was these badboys that caught my attention. Hawaiian Haze sounded sexy as hell, and as humid as it was, complete seduction to quench an ever strengthening thirst. With no further adue, time to put 'em to the test.

Description

"Hawaiian Haze IPA has arrived with a double dried hop flavour explosion. Juicy tropical licks of Pineapple, Mango, Passionfruit, and Mandarin burst atop a soft pillowy mouthfeel. It's the lucious hazy hitter on everyone's lips. Can you resist?"

Clearly not

Brewed by the Ballistic Beer Company in Salisbury Queensland, the Hawaiian Haze is an Indian Pale Ale possessing an ABV of 6%. This means it packs bit more of a punch than your standard beer, thumbs up from me.

I reckon the design of the can is pretty awesome, clearly highlighting the different malts, hops, and yeasts they use to brew this particular beer. Any home-brew enthusiasts out there would probably find that useful.

SO she's attractive, well-spoken, and clearly flirting with me. About time we cracked one open.

Taste and Appearance

As the name suggests, its appearance is golden and hazy in nature. An extremely appealing colour, which when poured possessed a fruity aroma. Everything about this beer is enticing.

The first sip was absolute heaven. I wasn't sure if it was just because I was absolutely parched from my run, but instantly my thirst was quenched.

The fruity flavours of the pineapple and mango were predominant in my opinion, and each gulp had my tastebuds cartwheeling. It was like Christmas eve for a child, and my thirst finally unwrapped its presents after a sleepless night.

Everything about this beers flavour was delicious. It's fruitiness, combined with a perfect bitterness. You could really tastes the hops too, a combination that I believe they have absolutely nailed.

After putting the first two away in pretty short succession, while savouring the deliciousness as best as I could. My wife had been to a party earlier on and just arrived home, so I cracked the third one and sat down to bit of a Filipino buffet. They do some pretty epic food.

I also chucked a couple pork cutlets on the barbecue that I marinated in my secret honey and mustard sauce.

What a way to finish a Saturday

I'm going to throw it out there and say that this is probably the tastiest beer I've ever drank. It packs a punch too with an ABV of 6%, and after a high intensity run it kicks in bloody well.

Flavoursome, absolutely refreshing, this beer ticks all the boxes. 10/10
